At this point, he didn't dare relax for even a second. He shot upward and hovered above the camp. Transparent lightning crawled along the outside of his body, and the newly formed sphere of energy in his chest began to rotate, slow and steady.
He stared the other man down.
"Who are you?"
Ethan's voice rolled across the heavens.
"Do you not know this is Emerald Castle territory? Why have you trespassed here?"
The man across from him rolled his neck with a small stretch.
He didn't answer right away. Instead, he swept a contemptuous gaze over the assembled army below.
Sky Fortress. Fallen Star Guard. Powered Combat Armor. The local elites Korvath had brought. Even Emerald Castle's forces, only recently recovered.
His eyes paused on each of them, one by one.
