Alex smiled in satisfaction, as she exited the maze.
Perman appeared once more, and grinned, it was clear he was impressed with her performance, after all, there weren't many people who could do so well in these trials.
"Well the next trial is known as the Trial of Patience, don't worry it won't last long. Now I announce the beginning of the fifth trial of the 15 Trials of Lightning!"
Alex was stunned, it was such an abrupt beginning, and suddenly she found herself in a place, it was completely white, there were no walls, and there wasn't even a floor, everything was simply white.
She began exploring, she felt the ground, and tried to feel around for any trace of existence. There was nothing, she couldn't do anything, and there was nothing to do.
As such, Alex began trying to figure out what this room was.
Utilising her mana, she began exploring the room, only to find that there was mana everywhere, but there was nothing anywhere.
Which was to say that this place was simply a white space, and so Alex assumed that the purpose of the trial was to break through the space, and in order to do that she would certainly need to do something.
And so once more Alex began thinking about how to go about this. There were 2 ways, the first was to overload the space, and forcefully break through, and the second was to figure out the properties of a space, and unravel it methodically.
The first method would be much simpler, and easier, so she went with that. Alex began gathering mana at her fingertips, but unlike [Finger Beam], she utilised [Mana Weaving] to constantly shoot out finger beams, and combined them slowly like twine, and created a powerful drill, she was uncertain if it would be strong enough or not, but in any case, Alex began creating a drill out of mana.
This drill would forcefully break through the space, and bust her out of this prison cell.
She accumulated for god knows how many hours before finally creating an acceptable drill.
Alex prepared to break out before finally firing off the drill.

Reality Drill (Very Rare {Growth})
As Alex fired off the drill, she watched as the drill kept flying... and flying... and flying until it turned into a speck on the horizon.
Alex was stunned, and decided that it wouldn't be effective for her to forcefully break through the boundaries of this space, and so she began researching how to unravel it.
She found that the theory behind unravelling space was very similar to her [Mana Weaving], and she simply applied the principles, but found that she wasn't able to figure out the limits of the space, and couldn't unravel it.

At this point Alex simply gave up, before remembering the name of the trial. It was the Trial of Patience, didn't that mean she should simply wait, and see what happened.

And so Alex waited in that space for a total of a week before finally being let out.
