Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: We're Just Ordinary Tourists Out on a Trip

Since there was nothing else to do, Rez decided to fool him for a bit first.

After all, it would still take fifteen minutes to reach a certain planet.

Seeing Broly rubbing his fists as golden aura began to flicker around him again, ready to rush forward and teach Dyspo a lesson,

Rez quickly held him back. He pressed his palm against Broly's shoulder, applied a bit of pressure, and whispered in his ear, "No need to rush, Broly. It won't be too late to teach them a lesson once the spaceship lands."

Broly understood and nodded obediently, withdrawing his aura before taking another sip from his water bottle.

"Actually, I've heard quite a bit about the famous Pride Troopers. You truly are messengers of justice in the universe, and I admire you greatly!" Rez gave Dyspo a thumbs-up, a sincere smile on his face and clarity in his eyes.

"Hmph!" Dyspo snorted, but his expression softened slightly. The tight lines on his purple face relaxed a bit, and his crossed arms loosened.

After all, no one dislikes hearing praise.

"But then again, since you're here to uphold justice, you shouldn't keep picking on us," Rez said with a slight smile, spreading his hands in a sincere tone. "We're just ordinary tourists out on a trip."

Dyspo rolled his eyes and curled his purple lips into a disdainful arc, seemingly losing interest in talking to Rez.

That kid next to you is so powerful, and you're telling me you're just ordinary tourists?

Could an ordinary tourist defeat Caselar so easily?

"Have you ever heard of the emperor of the universe, Frieza?" Rez let out a helpless sigh, looking up at the starry sky outside the porthole with a trace of deep sadness in his eyes.

"emperor of the universe?" Dyspo was taken aback, his expression confused. His purple ears twitched, and he couldn't help but look at Cocotte.

The look in his eyes seemed to be asking...

When did our universe get an emperor of the universe?

Cocotte also shook her head gently, her red hair swaying on her shoulders, indicating she didn't know about any such emperor either.

"We were forced to leave our planet just to escape the emperor of the universe, Frieza!" Rez let out a long sigh and said in a low, raspy voice. He turned his gaze back to Dyspo's face. "The moment we left, Frieza and his Frieza Force had already completely surrounded our planet... by the looks of it, he intended to destroy it."

"Keep making things up! Go on!" Dyspo expressed deep skepticism, his eyes narrowing into slits with a gaze as sharp as a knife.

Since they had never even heard of Frieza's name, they naturally didn't believe a word Rez said.

Broly started rubbing his fists again, golden aura dancing on his body and his gaze turning sharp, seemingly very angry at Dyspo's attitude toward Rez.

Rez gently patted Broly's shoulder, signaling him to stay calm.

"I'm really not lying to you. If you don't believe me, go to any inhabited planet and ask; you'll learn about the Frieza Force's atrocities!" Rez's voice grew even lower, his eyes dimming and his shoulders drooping slightly, making him look exactly like a homeless person.

"I'll naturally find someone to investigate what you've said!" Dyspo found Rez's performance quite convincing and believed him a little, but he still snorted, his purple nose wrinkling slightly. "However, how come I've never heard of an emperor of the universe?"

"Oh... that's because... we might not be in the same universe." Linoshi couldn't help herself and spoke up softly, her blue eyes downcast as her fingers began to fidget with the hem of her battle suit.

If they kept talking like this...

The conversation was going to hit a dead end!

You guys aren't even on the same wavelength, okay?

"Not in the same universe? What do you mean?" Dyspo caught this piece of information. His purple ears perked up instantly, and he focused his hawk-like gaze on Linoshi.

"This..." Linoshi stammered, her blue eyes darting around in panic. Realizing she might have said too much, she didn't know how to explain herself for a moment and lowered her head, wishing she could bury it in her chest.

"She means that Frieza spends most of his time in the Western Universe. You guys probably operate in the Southern or Northern Universes," Rez made up an excuse for Linoshi with a natural tone, his face remaining calm. "After all, the universe is so big that it's normal not to know each other. Now that I've told you, you know."

"We belong to the Central Universe!" Dyspo snorted coldly, his chin tilting up slightly as a hint of pride appeared on his purple face. "Our Planet Pride is at the center of the universe."

"So that explains it." Rez smiled and spread his hands with a look of sudden realization. "Frieza usually causes trouble in the Western Universe. It's perfectly normal that the Central Universe hasn't heard of him."

"Give Caselar some treatment," Dyspo ordered Cocotte, his tone carrying a hint of impatience as he glanced at his unconscious teammate on the floor.

"Yes, Captain." Cocotte stepped forward, her hands glowing with healing energy. An emerald light surged from her palms, soft and warm.

The emerald light quickly covered Caselar, enveloping his entire body as the light flowed like spring water soaking into parched earth.

A full minute passed.

Only then did Caselar slowly wake up. His eyelids fluttered, a low groan escaped his throat, and he rubbed his head.

His monocle was crooked. He straightened it, his eyes looking around in confusion.

However, upon seeing Broly, Caselar snapped to his senses. His pupils constricted, his confusion vanished, and was replaced by a raging fire. He glared at Broly, his fists clenching until they cracked.

Broly, however, just grinned heartlessly at Caselar, showing a row of white teeth, before nonchalantly raising his water bottle and taking a gulp.

"Kid! I'm not letting you off!" Caselar said, about to rush forward to deal with Broly.

Dyspo raised a hand, placing his palm across Caselar's chest and firmly blocking his forward momentum.

"What are you doing, Dyspo?" Caselar asked indignantly, stumbling back from being blocked, his eye behind the monocle filled with incomprehension and anger.

"Don't fight here; you'll destroy the spaceship!" Dyspo barked, a clear look of tension appearing on his purple face as he glanced at the flickering cracks on the cabin walls. "Didn't you hear the spaceship's alarm?"

Only then did Caselar notice the constant blaring of the ship's alarm. Red lights flashed frantically overhead, and a piercing buzz echoed through the cabin. He immediately stopped his charge, withdrew his fist resentfully, and gritted his teeth as he took a half-step back.

At that moment, Cocotte stepped forward again and knelt down. She pressed her hands against the damaged metal floor, and emerald light flowed from her palms, covering the dents and cracks.

As the light flowed, the deformed metal slowly returned to its original shape, and the cracks healed with a faint sizzling sound.

Ten seconds later, the alarm stopped abruptly, and the red lights returned to their normal dim blue.
