Jonathan could still remember that day. It started as usual, with a wonderful morning waking up next to the love of his life, Adreen.
The man would sweetly embrace him, utter good morning, and express his gratitude every day for meeting him.
Then he'd go around to check the status of the town, to see if there was anything he needed to know and improve.
He was also hands-on during events, and at the time, it so happened that one was happening in the following week, so a lot of preparation and logistics were needed.
This was something he learned from his father, who was a master in organizing big events and making them streamlined enough that all Jonathan had to do was maintain the current system.
In the afternoon, he'd also go out accompanied by dozens of guards with Adreen. They would be training near the sentries to make sure their levels and skills wouldn't grow stagnant.
