Hobb's Spring Resort...
Just as the cannibals began to move after receiving Jackson's order,
The air in the resort thickened with dread.
Toni clung to Rod's arm,
"____"
Her face pale with fear and heartbreak, while Rod—
Still bleeding from Danny's betrayal—
Stared in disbelief at the man he once thought were his good freind's.
Across the room,
Jillian held her trembling husband's hand, her knuckles white as her eyes flicked between the grinning cannibals and Danny—
His face blank, his eyes distant, like a man half-asleep inside his own body.
The firelight flickered over their faces,
Painting everything in shades of crimson horror.
"You're making a mistake,"
Rod rasped, glaring at Jackson.
"We didn't come here to fight you—"
Jackson gave no answer, just a slight tilt of his head.
The cannibals around him tightened their grips on the axes and blades in their hands, ready to strike.
Then, as Rod's eyes darted around the room,
Something hit him—
"____"
Someone was missing.
"Where's Nick?"
He demanded, voice raw.
"WHERE IS HE?!"
For a moment, no one spoke.
The silence felt like a trap waiting to spring.
"_____"
"_____"
"_____"
Then Sally's lips curved into a cruel, wicked grin.
"Oh, him?"
She said, stepping forward, her tone sing-song and venomous.
"He was… delicious."
Nick froze.
"____"
Jillian's breath hitched.
Sally licked her lips dramatically, tilting her head as if savoring the memory.
"We didn't want to waste good meat. Poor boy barely screamed before we took his tongue."
The words hung in the air like poison.
Toni gasped and covered her mouth.
Jillian's knees buckled as tears welled in her eyes.
Even Danny flinched.
His expression faltered for the first time,
Horror and guilt flashing through his drunken haze.
His mouth opened as if to speak—
But no words came out.
"You ate him?"
Rod whispered, his voice cracking.
"You monsters—"
Sally's grin widened.
Grin~
"Oh, don't look so surprised, sweetheart. Family dinners bring everyone together."
The cannibals laughed—
A low, gutteral sound that made Toni shrink back.
Rod clenched his jaw, fury boiling beneath his pain.
His vision blurred with rage and tears as he spat,
"You sick bastards… I'll kill you all—"
But before he could get up,
Jackson raised a hand.
"That's enough,"
He said coolly.
"We've wasted enough time on speeches. End this."
Just as the cannibals raised their weapons,
Ready to bring them down on Rod and the others—
BOOM!
The deafening explosion tore through the night,
Shaking the very foundations of the resort.
The glass windows shattered instantly,
Showering the floor in glittering shards as flames danced outside.
The sound reverberated through the old wooden walls,
Followed by the faint echo of roaring fire and a deep, otherworldly rumble.
Sally froze mid-swing, her eyes narrowing.
"____"
Frown~
"What the hell was that?!"
She hissed, her voice sharp with fury.
One of the cannibals near the window peeked out—
And barely had time to gasp before a burning chunk of debris slammed into the wall beside him.
The air outside glowed red and orange.
Sally's face twisted in rage.
"Who dares attack us?! Find them—FIND THEM AND FRY THEM! I'LL TEAR THEM APART MYSELF!"
The other cannibals growled in agreement,
Weapons tightening in their hands,
Ready to storm out.
But before any of them could move,
Jackson's voice cut through the chaos—
Low, cold, and urgent.
"STOP."
The single word carried enough weight to freeze the entire room.
Even Sally, seething with anger,
Turned toward him with confusion and disbelief.
Jackson's face had gone pale—
"____"
His eyes flickering with recognition and a rare trace of fear.
The two cannibals who had come back with him shared the same haunted expression.
"____"
"____"
"What's wrong with you?"
Sally snapped.
"It's just some idiots playing with fireworks—"
"No,"
Jackson interrupted sharply, stepping closer.
His voice dropped to a grave tone.
"That's not fireworks. That's them."
The cannibals exchanged uncertain looks.
Sally's expression faltered slightly.
"Them? Who—"
Jackson's gaze darkened, his grip tightening on the shotgun.
"The flaming monster from the graveyard… and his witches."
A murmur spread among the cannibals,
The confident bloodlust giving way to unease.
Even the air seemed heavier now, as faint,
Rhythmic footsteps echoed from outside—
The sound of someone approaching through the smoke and fire.
Sally looked toward the door, her jaw tightening.
"You're saying it's him? the fire monster you mentioned..."
Jackson gave a grim nod.
Nod~
"Yes. And if we want to live, we'll need leverage."
He gestured toward Toni, Rod, and the others with a sharp motion.
"Hold them. Don't kill them. They're our ticket out."
For a moment, silence hung thick in the air—
"____"
"____"
"____"
Broken only by the distant roar of something unholy outside.
Sally hesitated but finally snarled in irritation,
"Fine. Tie them up. But if that flaming freak steps in here…"
She licked her lips, her grin turning cruel again.
"…I'll carve him into dinner myself."
The cannibals obeyed, grabbing the terrified survivors roughly,
While Jackson stepped to the window,
Peering into the smoke-choked night.
Just as Jackson peered through the cracked window, his breath hitched.
Outside, cutting through the fog and darkness,
The shadow of a car stood still—
Its headlights slicing two bright paths through the night.
In the beam's center stood a lone man, tall and unmoving, surrounded by five women—
Two on his right, three on his left.
Their silhouettes were sharp, their presence unnervingly calm.
Inside, chaos simmered.
Rod was still struggling, his wrists bound, his breath ragged.
The cannibals roughly pulled him forward, along with Nick, Jillian, and Toni.
Danny's expression wavered—
"____"
Conflicted, guilt flickering in his eyes.
Sally noticed.
A dark smile curved on her lips.
She stepped toward Danny, slow and deliberate, her eyes locking with his.
Then, before anyone could react, she pressed her lips against his in a brazen kiss—
Long enough to sting Toni's heart.
When she pulled back, her voice was smug and cold.
"I'm expecting to be pregnant soon,"
She said, winking at Danny, who froze—
"____"
His face flushing crimson.
Toni's expression darkened, fury and disbelief twisting her features.
Ignoring the tension, Sally waved her hand toward the others.
"Let's go,"
She snapped, her tone dripping with impatience.
The cannibals dragged the captives toward the main door,
While Jackson's gaze stayed fixed outside—
On the shadow figure and the women standing beside him,
The night trembling with the echo of the distant explosion.
Meanwhile, outside the Hobbs Resort, the night burned.
The once-grand entrance was now a gate of fire—
Molten iron dripping from twisted hinges,
Trees and hedges crackling in an inferno that painted the forest in shades of hell.
At the center of it all stood Jojo—
No longer human.
His skull blazed with hell fire, chains coiling around his body like living serpents of heat and vengeance.
The Ghost Rider had arrived.
He had just blasted through the resort's gates, turning the path, garden,
And inner forest into a wall of flames that roared and licked the sky.
Turning toward Freya, Hope, and the others behind him,
He gave a slow nod.
Nod~
"____"
Then, raising one burning hand, he gestured forward.
The fire obeyed.
It parted—
Opening a charred pathway through the destruction,
A corridor of fire leading straight toward the heart of the resort.
The full moon hung heavy above them,
Bathing the burning landscape in silver light.
As they advanced,
Ghost Rider suddenly stopped.
His burning skull turned slowly toward Hope.
For a moment, his hollow eye sockets blazed even brighter, like twin suns locked on her soul.
He lifted one flaming finger and pointed at the moon.
"TRIGGER YOUR CURSE TONIGHT."
Hope froze, her breath catching as realization struck her.
"____"
His meaning was clear—
He wanted her to take a life tonight, to awaken the dormant werewolf curse in her bloodline within her.
Her pulse quickened.
The air itself seemed to tremble between them—
The calm before a storm of blood and transformation.
Jojo's flaming chains rattled as he turned away, his fiery steps cracking the ground beneath him.
"THE MOON IS FULL. TONIGHT… YOU CLAIM WHAT'S YOURS."
Without another word,
The Ghost Rider strode forward into the inferno,
The path of flames folding open around him as if the fire itself feared to touch him.
As the group moved closer to the main doors of Hobbs Resort,
The sound of crackling fire and shifting metal echoed around them.
Then—
CLICK.
The massive wooden doors creaked open on their own,
The hinges screaming like something alive.
A thick wave of smoke and the stench of blood spilled out, rolling across the scorched ground.
Through the widening gap,
Jackson appeared first—
His face dark, eyes glinting with unease.
Behind him emerged the cannibals, their skin slick with sweat and soot, clutching rusted blades and jagged tools.
They weren't alone.
In their grasp were Rod, Nick, Jillian, and Toni—
Bound and bruised, struggling against their captors.
Fear and disbelief marked their faces,
Especially when they saw women's standing behind the fiery figure at the gate.
From the doorway,
Sally stepped out next, her lips curling into a twisted grin.
Grin~
Her blood-smeared dress shimmered under the firelight.
Beside her walked Danny, his hand clasped tightly with hers—
Fingers interlocked like a cruel declaration.
The sight hit Toni like a blade through the chest.
"____"
Her eyes trembled as she looked at the boy she once trusted—
'The young man she called her boyfriend.'
Danny didn't meet her gaze.
His expression was blank, lost between guilt and submission.
The Ghost Rider took one heavy step forward,
The ground sizzling beneath his boots.
The flames surrounding him flared higher,
Throwing his shadow across the entire resort facade.
"SO… THIS IS YOUR FAMILY."
"THE ONES WHO FEED ON THE LIVING."
His hollow voice rolled like thunder, each word shaking the air.
Jackson clenched his jaw, trying to hide his unease.
"____"
"They're not your concern, demon. You've already let me go once—don't test your luck."
Ghost Rider tilted his head slightly,
The motion slow, mechanical with a single thought in his mind.
'ARE YOU SERIOUS... WHAT YOU MEAN BY LETTING YOU GO ONCE BEFORE. AND NOW TELLING ME I WAS TESTING MY LUCK.'
The flames around his skull dimmed to a low burn—
Dangerously calm.
"I DIDN'T GAVE YOU ANOTHER A CHANCE CHANCE, JACKSON. RIGHT... I WAS JUST NEED A LEAD ON THE PEOPLES BEHIND YOU."
"AND THANKS TO YOU WE HAVE GOT A GOOD LEAD. DON'T WORRY I WILL PUT YOU GUY'S ALONG WITH THEM A FRONT ROW SEAT IN THE HELL. PERSONALLY WILL BE CUSTOMIZED ACCORDING TO YOUR SIN'S..."
The fire roared again, spreading outwards in a violent ripple.
The cannibals took a nervous step back.
Behind Jojo,
Hope's eyes lifted toward the full moon,
Its pale light spilling over her face as Freya rested a steadying hand on her shoulder.
She knew what had to happen tonight.
And as the tension thickened.
Jackson pulled Toni roughly before him.
Jackson's grin widened with cruelty as he pressed the butcher's blade to Toni's throat.
Grin~
"____"
The warm line of blood that welled and ran down her skin glistened in the firelight.
One of his men, teeth bared like a dog, scooped a smear up and licked it with a wet, delighted sound.
The room seemed to tilt inward on itself.
"____"
"____"
"____"
Rod screamed, wrenching at his ropes.
Nick and Jillian clawed at theirs, uselessly.
Toni's sobs were sharp and raw.
For one terrible beat the cannibals' glee filled the lobby—
Until the sound of it cracked like a fragile thing beneath a roar.
A terrible, booming laugh rolled across the scorched courtyard.
RARARARARARARARA~
The Ghost Rider threw his head back, the fire in his skull flaring red-hot.
He stepped forward, and the temperature around him spiked.
The very air snapped with static and heat.
"YOU HAD NO RIGHT."
"YOU TOUCHED HER."
With a motion like a man tearing off a coat,
A flaming chain lashed from Jojo's shoulder.
It wrapped the knife hand in a hot iron vise, yanking the blade sideways.
Metal shrieked.
Ahhhhh~
While Jackson was screaming in pain holding his hand
The cannibal's fingers spasmed.
Jackson's hand slammed down as he tried to pull free,
But the chain coiled and tightened until his knuckles blanched.
Ghost Rider's laugh had teeth in it now well always there—
Low and terrible.
He dropped to a crouch so the skull was level with Toni's face for a single heartbeat.
There was something sick and human in the embered chuckle,
Chuckle~
Then the Rider straightened and his voice filled the night.
"TOUCH HER AGAIN AND I BURY YOU IN THE EARTH."
The knife was already melted by the high temperature.
Sally's smirk died.
"____"
The room watched the fire around Jojo pulse, an animal pacing before the kill.
He moved as if bored—
Only the danger is his another name.
Hope didn't hesitate casted a spell which sent Jackson flying hit the top of the main entrance snapping his back.
When he fell down he hit the ground in a unusual angle which snapped his neck.
Creak~
At that moment,
Hope's breath hitched.
She felt the moon like a hand closing at her ribs—
A cold, inevitable pressure.
Freya's hand tightened on her shoulder,
Not to stop her but to steady.
Inadu's eyes flicked to the sky and then back to Jojo,
She was the one who suggested this idea to Jojo before they travelled to the graveyard.
Reading the moment as threat and opportunity in the same beat.
Hope's pupils narrowed.
"____"
The animal under the skin woke and pressed its cold nose against the edges of her mind.
Memory-scented hunger rose inside her like a tide.
She looked at Sally and other cannibals—
At the blood at her throat—
And something snapped.
Ghost Rider didn't give her a second's pity.
He inclined his head once, a nod that was no kindness.
Nod~
"NOW."
Hope didn't hesitate.
Her bones lengthened and compressed.
Her muscles bulged and realigned.
Fur braided up her forearms like living ink.
The sound she made was not quite a human cry—
Half a sob, half a snarl.
She broke the last fragile thread that kept the wolf skin from bursting free.
Where Hope had been stood a creature close enough to human to be blasphemy—
Tall, bright-eyed, all-knuckle and fang and needle-point predatory grace.
Moonlight silvered her fur; the resort fire shone off wet teeth.
The room froze.
"____"
"____"
"____"
Even Canniblas staggered back as the wolf moved like a shadow through the circle of light.
The wolf's eyes locked on the nearest threat—
The cannibal who'd licked blood a heartbeat before.
With a sound like a warhorn, she exploded forward.
Woooo~
Everything happened like the strike of a storm.
A blur of fur and jaw and speed.
The wolf's teeth found throat, shoulder, face—
Clean, precise, astonishingly fast.
The cannibal didn't have time to scream.
The sound was replaced by the wet,
Ugly noises of flesh being shredded.
One second of motion and then the man fell, slack and red.
Another cannibal lunged for her with an axe.
She vaulted, spun, and sank her teeth through the man's wrist.
The axe clattered away as his arm went limp.
Blood sprayed the chandelier and the wolf's muzzle shone crimson.
She moved like a blade: quick, merciless, practiced.
Sally screamed—
"Youuuuu...."
Not with fear so much as rage—
And lunged forward,
But Ghost Rider's chain wrapped around her ankle, yanking her down.
She hit hard and the wind left her.
While her skin started to burn slowly.
Seems like Ghost Rider controlled his fire to make the pain slow and worse.
