Kevin naturally looked away and quietly sent a message to Lawrence and Ace.
"This is a trap," Lawrence replied without hesitation.
"In the first place, why would she hint at something to you when she knows very well who we are?"
"Agreed," Ace chimed in.
Kevin objected. "But what if you think about it this way? What if there really is a clue hidden in the pavilion, but because it's too well-hidden and difficult to find, she wants us to discover it ourselves? And if we do find it, she'll take it from us?" Kevin theorized.
"Then all the more reason not to go there," Ace countered. "Kevin, you and I saw what she was capable of. Based on what happened the other night, I don't think we can stand against her. Not to mention her current identity is the Duke's daughter. She has many ways to investigate things on her own. So why would she give you a hint unless it's a trap?"
