That evening, Anne Sutton was rooming with Faye Yorke. They had met before, so Faye had spoken with the housing coordinator, and they ended up sharing a room.
Faye Yorke looked at Anne Sutton and asked, "By the way, are you still with Ethan Linden?"
Seeing Faye's gaze, Anne Sutton cleared her throat and nodded. "Yeah."
"What do you see in him?" Faye said. "I was even thinking of introducing you to a nice, handsome guy! You seem like a really good person."
Anne Sutton looked at Faye Yorke and asked, "If... Ethan Linden's health wasn't an issue, would you be willing to be with him?"
"There's no point in 'what ifs'," Faye laughed. "But, if his health weren't an issue, I probably would have gotten together with him!"
