Reis stayed in dark the forest for about 3 months. For the first month, more than her unstable energy, what troubled her the most was her very unsteady mind. She vomited often and whenever she tried to sleep, she would wake up with nightmares haunting her.
But after a few weeks of time had passed, she managed to calm down a little and the symptoms started to lessen. Reis had meditated all this time and had managed to change her mindset slightly to not focus on the past so much and instead look forward to the future and the revenge that she was going to take.
And this simple mindset change had turned out to be a game changer. After this, her mental troubles had almost completely went away and she was able to finally focus on mastering her powers.
Fortunately, even though this forest looked like a dangerous area, it was actually not. So she was able to train here to her heart's concent.
