Earlier that day in a house in stone town
"I hope the objectives of your missions are clear?" A male voice came from a phone settled on a dresser.
"Perfectly understood." A woman replied with a cold undertone to her voice. "However, couldn't you have chosen someone a bit more appealing for this infiltration?"
There was a grumble of annoyance. "I never thought you would be the one to care for looks. Besides we paid that mad scientist good money for this and this woman was the best option for you to easily impersonate."
"Your worries are with the wrong person. That trigger happy man might go off plan might take a reckless shot." She patted her cheeks and began checking the facial features.
Pinpoint knows his role—"She could hear the doubt behind his words."—and the consequences if he goes off course."
She coldly scoffed. "Consequences huh. Whatever you say."
Finishing her adjustments, she gave her reflection one final look.
The professor's device really had done a remarkable job. Her bone structure, skin tone, eye shape — every detail matched the woman tied up behind her. Even facial recognition software would be fooled.
"Well time to get in character." She went to the closet where the woman she was impersonating lay on the floor unmoving but still breathing. "Rest darling, I'll be back soon." She tightly locked the closet.
It was a rookie move to hide the woman in the house, but the neighborhood was too dense for risky transportation. Visibility was high, alleys narrow, neighbors nosy. So she had hidden the body as best she could, then exited the house, locking every door and window behind her.
Back to the present
The woman was currently in a kitchen placing the food samples on individual plates and treys blending in well with the others. She noticed that some staff members were carefully watching them all carefully like hawks. It was obvious to her that it was actually laughable.
Taking the treys into the ballroom scanning every one of her surroundings closer. She spotted the cameras around the room and took notice of the majority of the hidden cameras in the room. If it weren't for the little sensory advantages her quirk gave her then she wouldn't have noticed despite the minor difficulty with color it gave her sometimes.
'I see Takhar was not holding back with the security.' There was no way she could really execute any proper assassination attempts swiftly and cleanly without fighting Takhar agents.
After getting to her station and setting the treys on the table as the guests began to arrive one by one. She took note of every guest from, politician, rich person and hero, until their target Mr. Umar had finally arrived along with his bodyguards. She watched them carefully to make sure not to look too suspicious to keep her cover and gauge the bodyguards a bit and concluded they were both threats.
'So sexy viper, how is it looking down there?' An adult male voice rang in her head but she kept her composer and ignored the remark while serving the drinks.
'It's like suspected Tahkar tightly securing the target. Any attempts on Professor Umar's life will lead to complications.' She answered.
'That's an understatement. The outside even has people on the rooftops guarding, possibly looking out for any aerial assaults or sniper like yours truly. You think that he was the president with the way they are guarding him.' The man was a bit too excited.
'Don't do anything with a moronic Pinpoint.' She warned him.
'Come on I can still make the shot even with all these buildings close together like this . I even got my good sniper rifle and bullets for this….'
'Your shot will likely be intercepted no matter how good your aim is.'
'That sounds like a challenge.'
She rolled her eyes.
'Do not do anything foolish, you man-child. Stay put and watch the perimeter' She heard him grumble and could tell his finger was twitching on the trigger but she ignored it and continued on with her cover. If he messes up, that's on him, not her.
Outside
In a building about 1200 meters away from the hotel a gun barrel peeking very slightly out a curtain of a window and inside was a Pinpoint who sucked his teeth at missing a chance to make an amazing shot to the MP.
He looked to be in his early thirties, 5 '10 in height, lean figure, a large scar on the side of his neck, he wore black sunglasses, grey baseball cap covering his hair, a brown brown hoodie, black pants, high end sneakers and had a toothpick in his mouth.
He looked below and a twisted grin formed on his face as he found a way to relieve his boredom. As he spotted a random target 750 meters to the west just a random market hawker lady selling goods to some tourist.
Leaning a bit outside the window he placed the tooth pick on his fingers and shot it at the crowd at incredible velocity. The toothpick ricocheted on the ground, street sighs, and walls till went through the market hawker's head making her fall to the ground dead. The people around screamed in fright causing a ruckus.
Pinpoint clapped his hands a bit in satisfaction.
'Well at least that was a bit fun' He went back to watching the hotel.
With the agents
"How are things looking so far?" Agent Kazi's voices rang through all the earpieces of the stationed bodyguards and they all answered everything was clear except Joseph.
"Yeah everything is clear. I was just double checking." He answered.
"Good. Stay sharp. If anything happens, Professor Umar's protection must be a priority. Over."
The line cut.
Emmanuel noticed Joseph was a bit more tense as he noticed that the slightest sound made the taller man's muscles move slightest. The two of the were in the were currently close by to Mr. Umar while he spoke to some other guests
So he decided to ask. "So my guy. Why are you jumpy today? It's not like this is the first time you've done this."
Joseph simply nodded "Like I said I was just double checking for anything suspicious. You never know what happened with these sort of parties even if Tahkar and heroes are here on pay roll."
Emmanuel turned a bit somber."I hear you. I remember hearing what happened at the party some years ago. A lot of those kids are still missing till this day."
Joseph thought about the party Emmanuel was referring to. He remembered that Matilda told that his nephew and his friend were part of those children, however Minerva managed to save them and the others in the truck as an after effect.
He snapped out of his thoughts and focused on the job at hand.
"It's good to see you professor." A gentle male voice carrying came spoke, and a man in his early fifties was walking towards them.
He was 5 '8 in height, a shaved head covered with a white cap, brown eyes behind glasses, his body was covered in a full white church robe with gold embroidery, collar and sleeves lined with biblical symbols, wears white gloves even when not preaching.
Behind him was a 5 '5 woman with her entire face covered with a white cloth veil, no eyes visible, only detail shown: bright blood-red lipstick, wearing a nun's outfit is spotless white, fitted tightly to her frame and holding a rosary.
Beside her was a huge and intimidating, built like a heavyweight boxer, 6'0 in height, dark skin with a faded haircut, a long scar over one eye—origin unknown, silver eyes that seem to glow when angered, wears a white armoredone-piece suit, custom-made for combat
"Ah, Prophet Moyo," Umar greeted, shaking his hand. "I'm surprised to see you here. You usually send representatives."
"An important message from the Lord reached me days ago," the prophet replied smoothly. "I could not miss this year's festival."
"I see. Nothing concerning I hope" Mr. Umar nodded. The priest was known for his accurate prediction despite not possessing a foresight based quirk, but also ability to provide a form of atonement to those who need it
""pOnly by the grace of the Holy Spirit," the prophet answered cryptically as his eyes landed on two men.
The first one was a man on the chubby side around his early 40s, wearing a well tailored black suit and mayor slash.
The second man had a more unique appearance and drew mixed looks but mostly one of hidden disdain. He was 5'9 in height, green skin, an octopus like head with the tentacles acting like his beard, wearing a dark green suit
'However eyes wandered to the entrance as five children (the pillars) walked into the ballroom. But he was focused solely on Danielle.
