"You wanted to what?!" Issei widened his eyes like a saucer. Kiba not understanding what Death Game meant became confused and scratched his head awkwardly. He wasn't that big fan of video games, it takes away time that he would rather spend in training and sharpening his skill.
"Oh? You don't know what Death Game is? Well, there's this interesting novel called Sword Art—"
"I know what Death Game means! And I even read the first 3 volumes of that novel! What I was more concerned is, why do you want to do that?!"
"Well, why not? Don't you think it will be fun?" Kousuke said with an amused look on his face. To be honest, he only wanted to make a game that the child within him would be overjoyed to play initially. But after the whole human supremacy talk, he was starting to have different ideas. With the whole Trihexa thing, he was beginning to believes that something big will happen sooner or later. Since some people seems eager to find that Beast of Apocalypse, he needs to make his own preparation just in case.
"Fun? If the whole death game is serious, then you'd just be a psychopath!"
Kousuke couldn't help but laugh out loud. Then he snapped his fingers, and the three of them immediately finds themselves back in Underworld. Issei realised despite returning back to being half devil, his control over his Sacred Gear had reached greater heights. Even Kiba senses this almost immediately, they didn't expect to be benefits this much from just spending some time in Imaginary Space.
"I was just kidding man, cheer up!" Kousuke said before tapping Issei's back with a chuckle. The portal had turned back to a key as he put in a necklace and worn it around his neck. He wasn't afraid of showing off his Sacred Gear, unlike Seele case. He was certain however that once she mastered her own Sacred Gear, she won't have to hide it anymore. "Can you feel the change? That's Longinus for you."
"You're already so strong, but now you also awakened a Longinus? You must be Biblical God's—Ouch... favourite person or something." Issei muttered with pain expression as he recoiled. He had forgotten the effect of saying the person upstairs out loud would gives him damage, he really thought he had returned back to when he was just a normal guy before the whole date that changed his life.
"Well what can I say? I'm just build different," Kousuke replied, a cheeky smile broke across his face. But all of sudden, the smile on his face was replaced with a serious expression as he looks up. Issei sensing his friend's strange reaction also looked up. It was just like the first time during his face off against Cao Cao, there was a spatial crack looming across the sky of the Underworld as if something from the Dimensional Gap is trying to get out.
Crack!
Then the sky shattered and a small figure jumped into the Underworld and landed quietly in front of Kousuke. She looks up at him with neutral expression, yet the latter can tell there was a glimpse of expectation in those dead fish eyes.
"I smelled the birth of another dimensional gap... No, it only had the same smell, but it seemed different? So I... followed it and found that it came from you." Ophis explained her reason for the sudden intrusion. It was rare for someone on her level to be surprised by something, especially since she had seen everything from the moment of her conception.
"Can you... let me explore inside?"
Kousuke didn't expect revealing his Sacred Gear to Issei would result in the appearance of Dragon God, and this time she even specifically came for him. He had heard her story in details from Sirzechs, and if what he said to be true, she only seek a quiet place to call home after Great Red intruded into Dimensional Gap and turned the whole place to its own territory. Ophis obviously wanted to chase it out, but both has the same level of strength so if they were to duke it all, it would take a lot of time until the winner come out victorious. For Satan to call it 'lot of time' while being part of the long-live races, it must truly be very long.
"I'm not sure, what are you planning to do once inside? I don't want to have troublemaker in my house if possible," Kousuke said nonchalantly. He wasn't the least bit bothered by her threatening presence, but the two who sat by his side couldn't say the same. Ophis didn't seems to be offend at his casual attitude as she shook her head.
"I'm not... troublemaker like Great Red. I just want... tranquility, please?"
He couldn't help but imagine Ophis as a tired salaryman with dark circles under her eyes who had a long hours of work without any break, and she finally found a solution that can gives her the rest she deserves. He snickered at his own imagination before shaking his head and looks at her seriously.
"You swear you won't do anything that would harm me?"
"I swear..." Ophis doesn't hesitate at all. So long as she could have the quiet that she had longed for, she didn't care if he wanted her to command as he please. As if his question itself holds mysterious power, she immediately senses a small connection connecting her mind to him the moment she agreed to his words. It wasn't anything intrusive, he could only read her surface level of thoughts at any moment he wanted. Of course this goes both ways as that's what binding contracts is. Kousuke didn't have anything to hide from her so he doesn't mind this much 'disadvantages' at all.
After all, he can now make her do to his bidding. A Dragon God at his demand, but Kousuke didn't let this get to his head. He was aware that she could cut the connection anytime she wanted, she have the strength to do it. He wasn't really planning to use the binding contract at first, knowing the huge risk that comes with offending one of the strongest beings on Earth. But if he could have her as a depending ally, that could be huge as well. Now if someone dares to cause trouble at his door, he can just throw Blue Eyes White Dragon at them, well, in this case, a gothic lolita style little girl.
"Alright, just tell me if you need anything else, like a pizza or something." He said before grabbing the key on his necklace and willed for a portal to open before them. Ophis didn't say much and simply walks into it and disappeared from their views just as the portal vanished and the key returns to him.
"Well, I didn't expect to catch a rare pokemon today." Kousuke jokingly said with a wry smile.
