A couple of meters away from a cave entrance, there were about 15 people gathered.
A Crusader in his mid-30s with brown hair was speaking to a group of Crusaders and Knights.
"For the land units, each Squad will have 3 members.
"For every tunnel we encounter, we will divide it among the Squads.
"And no matter what happens, each Squad should strictly stick with 3 members.
"This isn't a solo Field Mission, this is a group Field Mission. If you can't follow that, leave this Field Mission at once and go play by yourself somewhere else. I have no need for fighters who can't follow orders.
"If a Squad enters a tunnel and finds it as a dead end, go back and enter a new tunnel or a tunnel that your Squad hasn't entered yet."
He took something out of his belt pouch. It was a 5-inch rod that was encased with leather cloth.
"Make sure to mark every tunnel entrance and exit with your Squad's number using this Glow Marker."
He returned the Glow Marker to his belt pouch.
"And for the rest, they will continue patrolling outside. Are there any questions?"
"No, Brother Captain!" the Crusaders said.
"No, Priest Captain!" the Knights said.
"May the God of Light and the Elemental Gods always watch over you," the Crusader Captain said.
In total, there were 26 people, consisting of Crusaders, Knights and 2 Guards. 15 Crusaders and Knights were tasked to enter the cave, 5 Crusaders and Knights to patrol around the land area, and 2 Crusaders, 2 Knights and 2 Guards to patrol the skies.
Normally, given the area size of Mount Vald'mir, they would need way more units. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to gather powerful units. In fact, everyone here, specifically among the Crusaders and Knights, was at least a Lieutenant rank.
"Aaaahhh…!!!" someone suddenly cried out in pain.
Everyone nearby quickly turned to the direction from which the cry came.
A Knight was cut in half near the entrance of the cave. His upper torso was still in mid-air with blood and bits of his internal organs spraying all around. Meanwhile, his lower torso remained standing, still unaware of what had happened to its upper body.
They couldn't see anything except for a large and blurry ethereal pale grayish colored figure moving so fast.
Whooosh!
"Aaaahhh…!!!" another Knight was cut in half.
The powerful beings within the group finally got a glimpse of the large and blurry ethereal pale grayish colored figure.
It was a 3-meter-tall "Lesser Demon" carrying a white-colored sack on one of its 4 hands, while another hand was covered in blood and bits of metal and flesh from clawing its victims. However, there was one thing that only a handful of the powerful beings who were capable of seeing the demon noticed and found strange.
The Lesser Demon in front of them had a faint, soft glow on its skin. If someone was a demon-kin, a demon-worshiper, or someone who has hunted so many demons in the past, they would know that Lesser Demons had that ethereal pale grayish skin color, however, their skin doesn't have this faint, soft glow.
Seeing the second person clawed away like they were made out of paper, everyone moved.
Vooom!
Whooosh!
This time, it was a Crusader that was cut in half.
[Whistle].
A string of musical notes made out of white aura flew out of a Knight's mouth and then flew over to Vivian.
[Track].
A red glowing string shot out of a Knight's hand and then tied itself around one of Vivian's wrists.
[Holy Fist].
As Esmeralda pulled back her right arm, a large golden fist appeared over her right fist and an enormous golden fist that was proportionate to a 10-meter-tall being also appeared several feet above Vivian.
[Blessing].
A red light enveloped Wilhem's body.
The rest also conjured their own skill or spell.
Vooom!
Whooosh!
Whooosh!
Vivian took out 2 Knights in the blink of an eye.
Baaam, BAAAM!!!
Vooom!
Whooosh!
Vooom!
Whooosh!
"HAAA…!!!" Esmeralda shouted as she drove her right fist to the ground. Unfortunately, her enormous golden fist in the sky missed, hitting nothing but the sand. Meanwhile, Vivian continued slaughtering her companions left and right, causing a shower display of blood, metal and limbs flying all around with the sounds of cries playing in the background.
A couple of the remaining Crusaders and Knights armed with Mana Weapons and other spells came rushing at her.
Whooosh!

Whooosh!
Just like the others before them, they, too, were clawed away in half as if they were made out of paper.
Vooom!
Vivian appeared in front of Wilhen, who was holding a Mana Sword wrapped with Poison.
Whooosh!
"Iro-DIE, iro-DE--" he was clawed in half before he could swung his weapon and finish his sentence.
WHOOOS…!
An enormous golden fist came rushing at Vivian's left side and it disintegrated once it touched her.
Voooom!
Vivian appeared in front of Esmeralda.
Benedikt, who was still alive, rushed over to her.
Chud, chud.
Riiiip…!
Vivian grabbed Esmeralda's top and bottom with two of her free hands, and then ripped her into two.
[Explosive Throw].
BOOOM!
Benedikt was still on his second step when Esmeralda's upper torso came flying at him, and then his entire body, except for his feet, turned to red mist.
Wooom!
Vivian jumped about 30 feet in the sky and her eyes quickly calculated all of the remaining humanoid-shaped nervous systems around the area.
7 at the bottom…
6 in the sky…
I have no other choice…
Woooh!
She threw away Esmeralda's lower torso to the closest flying unit, but missed.
[Greater Origin Enchant].
Dark red lightning appeared on one of her hands.
[Greater Origin Transformation].
BBBBLLLLAAAAKKKK…!!!!
TTTTHHHHUUUUDDDD…!!!!
She transformed into a 40-meter-tall Lesser Demon and the whole mountain shook when her feet landed on the ground.
The remaining humans froze and dropped their jaws, unable to comprehend what they were seeing.
But unlike the humans, the mounts of the flying units and also the nearby animals and monsters were affected by [Nemesis of Beasts], causing the animals to run away and the monsters to charge at Vivian.
[Enchant Lightning].
PPPPSSSSCCCCHHHHTTTT…!!!!
One of Vivian's hands was encased with lightning. And due to the size of her hand, the sound of her lightning spell echoed miles and miles away.
[Halo].
WWWWOOOOOOOOOWM….!!!!
A golden ring that was proportionate to her 40-meter-tall stature appeared on her back. And just like the [Enchant Lightning] spell, due to the size of the [Halo], it also produced a sound that echoed miles and miles away.
"CCCCOOOOMMMMEEEEE TTTTOOOO TTTTHHHHEEEEE LLLLIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTNNNNIIIINNNNGGGG…"
The monsters, especially the mounts of the flying units, rushed toward the lightning on Vivian's hand.

When all of the flying units got electrocuted along with their riders, Vivian quickly deactivated her [Halo] and [Enchant Lightning], and they both made another loud sound that echoed miles and miles away as they dissipated.
WWWWHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO…!!!
Vivian moved her tail using her full speed, causing a very loud whistling sound to erupt in the air and also clouds to appear around the tail as it moved.
[Power Tail].
BBBBAAAA-RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPP…!!!!
She then swept her 40-meter-long tail across everything around her in a circle, using all of her speed.
The entire area rumbled as if there was a giant earthquake and everything that got caught by her skill was shredded into oblivion with the Physical Force of 11 (+547) + 30. Moreover, the movement of her tail also produced whirlwinds that were 2/5 of the Physical Force of her skill, slicing and blowing away everything miles away.
Some of Vivian's eyes assessed the destruction she caused.
This…
I don't remember having this level of power last time I was in this size…
Although her AGI was reduced by 40% because of her 40-meter-tall stature, her size, combined with her STR and remaining speed, were enough to produce powerful whirlwinds.
Barely anything left…
Even the mountains around her, especially the one beside her, were completely ruined.
I also lost some of the corpses because of the wind…
Her original plan was this: Swept everything around her with [Power Tail], and then use [Explosive Leg] on where she stood to completely erase everything within a 40-meter radius. Unfortunately, she didn't expect that her basic movement alone would produce powerful whirlwinds.
Another failure…!
And I don't have time to search for the corpses…!!!

Vivian was running using only 1/5 of her speed and was back in her Inquisitor attire with her 2 black thorny whips on her hands. And although she was back in her human form, her right eye was still in demon form.
The [Primordial Beast] was a complete fail…
All that training and killing for nothing…!
She focused her attention in front of her. About 5 miles away was the Third Inner Stanza Border Checkpoint.
I already have the perfect alibi…
But still…
She glanced at the torn animal and monsters' corpses, and also the broken and uprooted plant life scattered across the desert.
I didn't expect them to be blown away all the way up to here…
She focused back on the Third Inner Inner Stanza Border Checkpoint and then closed her left eye in order to focus on her right eye that was in demon form.
There are some blueies on top of the wall and 1 in the sky...
She opened her left.
They've probably also heard about the noise…
Or saw a giant Lesser Demon with a [Halo] on its back…
Or both…

Vivian finally reached the border checkpoint. She jumped and then landed on top of the wall where there were a couple of her companions standing there, mainly Lennon, Finley and a couple of Guards.
Seeing her, a couple of them were secretly relieved because the most powerful person in their station had arrived.
By now, everyone knows that Vivian sometimes goes out at night alone outside of the border checkpoint to "train". However, no one would dare to question or stop her, especially after considering how she handled the people who dared to get in her way.
But as they were secretly relieved, they finally noticed the bloodstains on her cloak.
"Sister Inquisitor, are you okay?" Lennon asked.
"I'm fine. What did you guys witness?"
"When I arrived here, I was greeted with a sandstorm. It was Guard Dani and Guard Sonia who witnessed everything. Brother Lieutenant Anthony is currently questioning them."
"And the others?"
"Knight Captain Edgar and Knight Sergeant Arabella are at the South Gate, Sister High Sergeant Juana is patrolling the skies, Knight Trevin and Knight Garcon are checking around the area," he said and then paused for a moment. "And Knight Lieutenant Lamont is with Brother Lieutenant Anthony."
"I see," Vivian said and then swept her gaze at the rest of the station.
"Did you see anything?"
Vivian returned her gaze to Lennon.
"What?"
"You were outside. And your cloak, it's dirty." He wanted to say covered in blood, but he chose 'dirty'.
"I was in the middle of training when I suddenly got blown away by a powerful sandstorm. And the moment I got up, I immediately rushed over here to see if anyone was injured."
Lennon shook his head.
"No one is injured."
"I see. I thank the God of Light."
Lennon nodded.
"I thank the God of Light as well."
"Well, since everything is okay, I'll be heading to my room. Good night," she said and then began walking away.
Hearing what she said, everyone was caught in surprise.
"Sister Inquisitor, wait…!" Lennon said.
Vivian stopped and then turned to him.
"You're going to bed?" he asked.
"I'll take a bath first. Hair and clothes are covered in dust. And then do some laundry before heading to bed. Why?"
Everyone wanted to say, 'What do you mean, why?! Can't you see, we're in an emergency?!' But they held their tongue.
"You're not concerned about what just happened? If you've heard what Guard Dani and Guard Sonia witnessed, you won't believe them."
"What did they witness?"
"They…" Lennon said and paused for a moment to swallow, his face telling her that even he found what he was about to say unbelievable. "They said that they saw a giant demon, as tall as a mountain, with a golden ring on its back, like [Halo], south of here, around Mount Vald'mir."
"I see. After I'm done taking a shower and doing laundry, I'll be at my office on standby to wait for anything new that comes up."
Lennon nodded.
"Okay, noted."
Although Lennon agreed, some of their companions didn't bother to hide the worried expression on their faces.
Normally, it would be Lennon and Edgar to not only be in charge of security but also be their main vanguard. However, considering Vivian's strength, they all wanted her to stay outside with them to help guard. But due to their past experience with her, they held their tongue and could only wear such expressions.
Vivian let out a sigh.
"Inform this to everyone: Whether what Guard Dani and Guard Sonia witnessed is true or not, there's nothing to worry about. I was out there myself, running alone, and no one dared to approach me.
"So if the enemy or enemies don't have the guts to approach me, all by myself, then they sure don't have any guts to approach this station of ours.
"But even if they did, their most powerful would go to the Main or the Fifth Inner Stanza Border Checkpoint in order to disrupt the chain of command.
"And if they're too stupid to come up with a very simple and basic plan like that, then I highly doubt they could be strong, let alone survive with that level of intelligence in an environment like this."
