Chapter 446 - Chapter 446: Paperwork, Paperwork, & More Paperwork

"Alex, are you in here?" While reading through my final papers, I raised my head, gazing at Michelle as she opened the door, peaking her head into my office, causing me to nod. "Yep. What are you doing up so late? Shouldn't you be sleeping?" Yawning, I leaned back, stretching while Michelle entered.

"Dear, it's morning… Don't tell me you stayed up all night again." Furrowing her brows slightly, Michelle stopped before my desk, folding her arms while I raised an eyebrow. "Huh?" I spun around in the chair, gazing out the windows behind me as the morning sun rose beyond the horizon, while Michelle walked around my desk.

'Oh, it's morning.' As I realized I'd worked through the whole night, Michelle straddled me, cupping my face until I looked at her. "Hmm, you don't look tired." "Nope. Sleep isn't required for me." "I know, but even if your body doesn't need to rest, your mind does." Smiling at Michelle's concern for me, I squeezed her butt and kissed her, reassuring her.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. Besides, I'm looking into finding an assistant." "If you say so." Nodding softly, Michelle leaned forward, stealing my lips for a little while longer while kneading her ass. "I'm almost done, but if you want to help, how about putting your mouth to work?" "Fu, I thought you wouldn't ask."

Breaking our kiss, Michle flashed a sultry smile before sinking to the floor, squatting underneath the desk, unbuckling my pants while I continued with the papers; the faint noise of slurping echoed within the office. "Oh, I-I must be, ugh, backed u-up. I-I'm already ugh, c-close."

Occasionally groaning in pleasure, breaking my focus, I ended up taking longer than I would've to finish the remaining papers, though it was well worth it if it meant I got to release inside Michelle.

"F-Finished. M-Michelle, I finished, y-you can stop." "L-leb me finish this lash ome." "Ugh, g-goodness, you're taking it all the way to the base!" With me entirely at the mercy of Michelle's deepthroating, I ended up cumming soon after, filling her throat.

"Damn, that was good." After she finished cleaning me, I pulled my pants up while she stood up, wiping her mouth clean while patting her stomach. "Might've consumed a bit too much, I'm no longer hungry." "Hehe, you're the one who didn't let go… C'mon, let me go prepare breakfast before hangry Oni wakes up."

"ALEX! FOOD!" Just as Michelle and I left my office, a loud voice resounded throughout the mansion, causing me to wryly smile while Michelle chuckled. "Never mind." "Hehehe."

As we walked through the mansion, it was no longer as empty as it was before; now we'd come across servants and soldiers frequently down every hallway, and they'd slightly bow at our presence before continuing on.

"How are you feeling about everything?" Greeting a passing pair of guards, I glanced at Michelle, who tilted her head with a thoughtful expression. "I quite like it, I have so many new people to talk to and make friends with… Being a noble is nice and all, but I don't quite get along with other noblewomen; most of them are born into it. Most of my life, I've been nothing but a commoner, so our experiences are vastly different."

I nodded in agreement with Michelle, completely understanding her, as that's exactly how I felt when interacting with other high-profile figures. "Sounds like the pros are outweighing the cons." "hehe, yep!" Entering the dining room, I spotted Yuki lying across the table on her back, though she immediately sat upright when she saw me.

"Alex! Have you come to cook breakfast!?" "Yes, you glutton. Just give me some time." "Yes! Haha, love you, Hubby!" "Yes, yes, love you too." Patting Yuki, who engulfed me in a tight hug, I entered the kitchen, donning my one and only apron, and quickly got to work.

By the time I finished cooking an omelet breakfast, everyone was already sitting at the table, hungrily looking at the cart I pushed into the dining room, carrying their food. "You best not be expecting I made a plate for you, Jackal." Serving my wives their plates, I glanced up at Jackal, who wiped away his drool while clearing his throat.

"N-No. I've come to ask if you've completed yesterday's paperwork?" "Ugh, yeah. It's in the office." "Got it. I'll also leave this month's expenses on your desk." "Got it. Thanks, Jackal… Oh yeah, Jackal, your son, Cancer, I heard he signed up to be an adventurer, you teaching him your ways?" Sitting at the head of the table, I quickly pointed at Jackal with my fork while he flashed a proud smile.

"Heh, you damn well know it." "How'd Kurina take it?" Immediately, Jackal's proud expression faltered, turning ugly. "Never mind. Forget I asked." As if the life had been sucked out of him, Jackal left.

"I've decided to take the A-rank examination today!" Yuki, with a mouth full of food, suddenly shouted, causing me to nod with a twitching expression. "That's great, I don't doubt you'll pass. It's about time you become an A-rank adventurer; I mean, I started beneath you when we met, and now I'm ahead of you." "Hmph, stop being such a tease, Alex!" I chuckled in response, enjoying teasing Yuki.

"I shall also take the A-rank examination today." Vanye spoke next, sporting a determined expression as she briefly glanced at Yuki, who gave a thumbs up, causing her determination to falter slightly. "It's hard being competitive when you're supportive, Yuki." "Eh, but wouldn't you want me to pass my examination?" "I-I mean, yes, but then competitiveness between us vanishes; competitiveness helps us get stronger."

Watching Vanye explain friendly competitiveness to Yuki, she suddenly grabbed a pitcher and splashed it onto Vanye. "Haa, I hope you fail, loser! Like that?" "Y-Yes, haa." As Vanye forced a smile, we laughed at her, which made her face twitch.

After finishing breakfast, Yuki and Vanye set off for the adventurer guild, while I made a brief pit stop back to my office.

'Let's see what our expenses are.' Picking up the paper, I read through it, whistling in awe at the money we burned through. "Spent damn near 300 Diamonds last month." The number was high, but most of the things I'd bought were one-time expenses, and selling TVs periodically had netted us over five-hundred diamonds last month; running out of money wasn't something I was worried about.

"Welp, since I've got some free time, I think I'll go on a quick dungeon dive… Floor 30 sounds good." Burning the paper, I left my office, heading to my room to don my armor before using [Teleport], appearing just outside the entrance to the dungeon.

"Alright, time to cut loose."

___

___

"Ahh, not needing to butcher the beasts and bring them back saved more time than I expected." Muttering softly, I removed my armor, letting a servant take it so it could be cleaned while I entered the bathroom, stripping before showering.

"Yeah, this warm water feels nice." Scrubbing my body and thoroughly washing my hair, I exited the shower, dried myself, and put on clothes. Leaving my room, I headed to the first floor and stepped out onto the back porch, sitting down as I watched Michelle tend to her garden with Chloe's help and Yuki and Vanye sparring.

"Want some tea?" Glancing at Jasmine, who was enjoying the weather, I shook my head. "Nah, I'm good… Did Yuki and Vanye pass?" "Yep. They're now A-class Adventurers." "That's good to hear… Where's Lazuli?" "She's in her office." "She really loves tinkering around, huh." Tilting my head lightly, curious what I could do to help improve Lazuli's hobby, I picked up Jasmine, placing her on my lap.

"Warn me first. I nearly spilled my tea." "I would've licked it clean." Flashing a smirk, I rested a hand on her thigh as we made out; though, as it was around evening, we had to cut it shorter than I'd like since I needed to cook dinner.

"Make sure to clean your ass tonight, I'm feeling hungry." "Fufu, I always keep it clean." As Jasmine whispered in my ear, arousing me, I gave her a hard kiss before heading to the kitchen.

Once I finished cooking, we collectively sat down, eating together as we chatted and laughed; afterward, I walked down the manor, just to clear my head, though I ended up running into Jackal. "Oh, perfect, there's some paperwork for you, left it on your desk." "Eh, w-w-wait!" Jackal, clearly busy, didn't even stop to speak to me and just continued walking, causing me to sigh as I turned around, heading to my office while praying it was just a few papers.

"Fuck man. How is there so much paperwork already!?" Glaring at the stack of papers on my desk, I heaved a deep sigh as I closed the door and sat down in my chair, realizing I'd be missing two nights in a row that were supposed to be spent with Jasmine.

'No. Things can't keep going like this… Mavis, perhaps she could help.' While I didn't like the idea of asking her for help, if it meant I could save my night with Jasmine, it was worth it.

Ordering a guard to summon Mavis, I skimmed through some of the papers in the meantime until she arrived. "Yes?" Entering my room with a bland expression, I glanced up at Mavis, prompting me to reach into my desk, tossing her vial of my blood; even after all this time, she was still addicted to my blood. I kept feeding her because it was another assurance that kept her in check.

"Help me with this paperwork." "Why should I?" "I'll double the vials I give you for the week." Mavis scoffed, clearly irritated by my words, though she nonetheless created a blood chair opposite me and sat down. "Just don't get in my way." Scoffing, a bit annoyed, I went ahead and got to work.

By the time I went to grab my tenth paper, I noticed there was nothing left to grab; raising my head, looking at the empty stack, I glanced at Mavis, who had placed the stack in front of her. "Why'd you move the stack?" "I finished." "Finished? That quickly?" I eyed her skeptically, not fully believing her. "Hmph, you think I'd agree to this just to perform half-heartedly when I know you could just look through them? Why would I waste my time doing such things?"

Folding her arms, she leaned back while blankly glancing at me, none of her words holding a single lie, causing me to click my tongue as I placed the other nine papers on the stack. "Thanks. As promised." Handing Mavis another vial of my blood, I stood up and left, quickly heading to Jasmine's room, eager for some booty.
