One evening, as Jack was searching for his next victim, he noticed a woman who seemed to be watching him. He felt an urge to follow her. He followed her all the way to her apartment, where he broke in and killed her.
The murder made national headlines and Jack found himself at the center of a massive manhunt. Jack had to flee from the town almost immediately to an entirely different town where he started his operations again.
Jack became an entirely different person. He changed his look entirely looking nothing similar to the infamous 'Midwest Ripper'.
