Chapter 487 - Chapter 487: Legendary Fury, Part 2

Harvard and Zazel would get themselves back up as they'd see Leon close towards the house. The Card Magician would signal for the Nuckelavee to sweep through the ground and dig across, creating a chasm that'd sink Leon's legs, prompting him to try and react to the change in scenery, whilst Zazel would cast out a constellation of Gemini to replicate the beast half, letting two more come down and copy the original. As such ground was dug, letting the beasts build back up and attack outside of Leon's range, the armor he'd wield would come off, letting it blast away like a barrier to block any attacks from coming close, while simultaneously letting the strings from the White Hand dig deeper, burrowing itself into his nerves. He was understanding that he can't do things automatic anymore, as doing so would result in him misplacing his own position and letting him be overwhelmed by other attacks. By trying to rely on it, it would react to the ground's shifting and not the beasts coming his way or the next attack Faya would fire.

A small hiccup in his elusiveness: Where it cannot handle multiple attacks happening at once.

Once Faya fired her shot, the strings immediately reacted, weaving the body by a mere centimeter. Once the beasts try to charge, he'd leap up and dodge through each, even getting on top of and stomping down one of the heads of Gemini, breaking the Constellation entirely. Harvard was quick to notice where the string was at, aiming directly at his spinal chord and neck, with lines spreading like veins into other parts of his body. Zazel would be confused as to why he would do such a thing, but Harvard would be quick to demonstrate it by splitting his own back, showing the nerves within his spine. Leon physically burrowed the strings into his nervous system so that he can react by mere thought alone. "How the hell are we supposed to beat that, then!? He's just gonna think away the problems!" Zazel shouted, catching the attention of Leon and letting him kick up the broken earth, lunging the House away and aiming for the Demon. Harvard would be quick on setting up a spell, an iron maiden catching the House, preventing any further magic from interacting with or casting from the prison, letting it drop down and release once it was safe.

"Easy. We just overwhelm his nerves!" Harvard replied, as he'd try to cast one of the spells in his deck; Candy House. The very spell that replicated the House Leon searched for. The land, once wounded and bludgeoned, shaped around to be the very sweets the House had inside. Candy Canes for tree logs, Cotton Candy for dust clouds, and chocolate for the remains of the restaurant exposed. Harvard smiled as he'd watch Leon be confused by why he elected such a change in scenery, before his body began to spike up, his eyes widening, darting around as he'd try to keep track of what was going on.

His body was beginning to experience a sugar rush, and since it was exposed directly to his nerves, his mind became his greatest ailment.

"Last time I had this level of candy in my system, it was through my bloodstream! That made me go into an overdose. Since yours is through your nerves, on the other hand..." A wide grin from the two mouths as the child charged ahead, clawing through the ground, letting him lunge ahead and have his Fusion push the Beldam into the Debt Collector, allowing him to set up another spell in order to strike at both simultaneously. Adel's DNA was being set, a slash against both of their bodies with the fang left behind, its venom quickly taking hold. For the Beldam, it would start to diminish her energy supply, her control over the toys starting to break away. For Leon, it was a toxin that corroded his system in the same manner. From such wounds, however, he'd snare them even further with a virus.

One that would begin to make their bodies like paper.

A second virus tossed in.

One that began to disintegrate the body the longer it remained.

A Third would be casted, seeping itself directly into the venom itself, doubling its efficiency with the new effect: To cut off any and all feeling from the left side of their body, as if it wasn't there to begin with. Stacking these viruses would cause the sugar to intensify the effects, prompting Leon to endure what's essentially a lethal overdose out the gate. Because the nerves were exposed and the sugar was creeping through it, the spells were able to travel through that sugar into the brain, dealing heavy damage as a result. In a way, this will guarantee his win.

SHIKK!!!

Or, it would've, had the Beldam not offered her own life first instead, creating Rock and Sock once more and tossing the body into Leon, transferring herself into the Debt Collector, allowing her brain to take such a sacrifice, while also carrying on her magic towards him, the armor changing to befit the Witch. Her tail breaking off to act as plates across his spine like a stegosaurus, her clawed hands and flower-like maw now acting as a core that opens out from within the puppet-like armor. The steel that fashioned her body attaching outwards like a proper board, letting the White Hand grab ahold and control him manually, while still carrying such thought-like control. The pyramid quickly breaking off, tilting to its side, the eyes moved to the base for better sight, while the tip can properly open, fangs being made like it was a reptile, a slimy tongue escaping out. Leon was becoming more and more alien the longer the fight came, and he knows it. He recognizes it. He was beginning to be less and less human, all for the sake of his business.

Yet even then, he does not stop his assault. "Beldam... How much hate does that iron heart of yours hold? I can feel it strangling me. How much hate have you brewed since then...?" He'd mumble, as he'd allow his new form to attack back, letting him create toys out from the plating as if he was a living factory: Robots that carried the Room Magic style in order to try and convert the candy landscape into a traditional building, with Harvard's magic clashing back, letting Faya take control of the departing area and materialize it as a bigger House than what she can originally produce. "It feels as if the word 'Hate' is engraved onto your skin. How much hate have you blossomed while we remained? How much hate do you have for that child? Is it because he is related to the very reason you wish to hate?" Another mumble, as another set of toys were launched to the children: The humanoid silly strings that would try to tangle around, being met again with a barrier thanks to the Lesser Monsters Zazel now wields.

"You want his heart to be eaten alive. You want his body devoured by insects. You want his life to end as swift as it comes. Why do you hate him so much...?"
