After hearing Edward Anderson's words, Wayne Adams felt annoyed and confused, hanging up the phone abruptly.
Edward should understand his feelings the most, as he had been in a similar situation. Unfortunately, even Edward couldn't help him.
If he could never find out where Evelina hid his mother, would he be unable to be with Cecelia for the rest of his life?
The mere thought made him anxious.
Perhaps he should be ruthless, divorce Cecelia, and then marry Evelina. Only in this way could he legitimately force Evelina to reveal his mother's whereabouts and have her preside over the wedding.
