Upon noticing Flynn's reaction, Lucas said, "The doctor told me you had an abortion before, and I remember you never got pregnant when we were together. So there's only one possibility; you've conceived a child with another man."
Flynn was secretly alarmed but managed to control her facial expressions, "Do you care about my past? You've never asked how I spent those years abroad."
As she spoke, tears streamed down her face.
Seeing her so heartbroken and in her lactation period, Lucas decided not to push further, "Forget it, if you don't want to talk about it, just focus on recovering."
Everyone has a past, and so does he. Why should he pry too much into it?
He and Flynn were already in this situation, and Flynn had been hurt. He bore some responsibility too.
There was no need to bring up certain things anymore.
Flynn breathed a sigh of relief and whispered, "I'm tired, I want to sleep a bit more."
Lucas had no objection and left the ward.
