(Jason's PoV)
[1 Year Later]
"I'm on my way." I said to the lacrima device, "I heard it from over here." \
"Okay." I heard Mavis say through the line, "Please scold him, you're too lenient with him sometimes."
"Alright." I said as I stood up from the crouching position I was in, "I was just checking out the tracks the wild boars left. I ought to do something about that."
"I can always have someone from the guild deal with it." Mavis said
"Nah, I'll handle it." I said as I straightened up, "I can always-"
"No." Mavis cut me off, "Don't feed them to Erion, they're not healthy for him."
I sighed, "Fine." I muttered, "But I'm just saying, if we can't prevent him from hunting, might as well have him hunt actual nuisances."
"I've spoken." Mavis said before the line went dead
I put the lacrima device in my pocket as I shook my head.
"Ain't that a bitch." I said as I looked up at the sky
Clouds were covering the entirety of it, darkened with gray. It looked like it was going to rain, I could even smell the humidity. I then looked down at the massive amount of boar tracks that were in the ground. I was in the middle of a clearing in the woods that were in my property, next to a creek that I knew wildlife comes and drinks from it. Lately, there's been an abundance of pests such as wild boars that have been doing nothing but destroying the plants most of the deer and other docile animals eat.
They were going to be a problem.
I then heard a massive crash in the far distance and felt a slight tremor in the ground.
I gritted my teeth, "That little shit...." I muttered as I snapped my fingers
I took a step through the portal that opened in a split second, using my Moon God Slayer Magic, traveling towards the location where I knew the crash was. The next thing I knew, I was in a different location, In the middle of a massive field.
In front of me, I saw a massive dust cloud where a large winged shadow was towering over me. I could feel the intense magic power emanating from it as the dust dispersed. I was then being stared down by the massive black dragon.
The Dragon then let out a roar as the ground shook and the atmosphere slightly darkened. I looked around and noticed several massive magical flying beasts dead in the ground. They were four-legged lizard beasts with two sets of feathered wings and a massive scorpion tail.
They looked like hybrid species that were native to the Dreadlands, a massive region of both rocky and forest terrain where dangerous magical beasts lurk. A couple months ago, I ventured to it to rescue Natsu when the idiot got in over his head and decided to run through it without any supplies or help from Happy. Fucking idiot.
I saw that the dragon had a flying beast on its claws, it was barely alive, it's desperate eyes looking at me with nothing but fear.
I scowled, "Oi." I said with an annoyed tone, "What the fuck are you doing?"
Erion looked at me with his cold and piercing blue-eyes, "Gaahhh!!!" He let out as he lifted the beast in his grasp
He then slammed it down hard on the ground, breaking its neck and killing it immediately.
I sighed, "Geez." I said, "I know those things are dangerous fuckers, but for fuck's sake, kill them swiftly."
Erion then bit off a piece of its wings and began to devour it like a gluttonous pig, shredding the entirety of both sets of wings.
"Agghhh!!!" He bellowed with a mouthful
"Don't speak with your mouth full." I said
Erion has grown significantly. In his human form, that is. His Dragon form grew a bit ever since he was born, but you can barely tell the difference. His speech has improved drastically; he can communicate like a toddler in his human form, saying few coherent words but in his Dragon form, his speech is still lacking. He can only say sounds or a few senseless words. I still don't know why that is.
Other than that, his intelligence is much more advanced than he lets on. Not only that....
He's been rebelling a lot.
In a swift motion, he swung his claws at the beasts he was devouring and shredded its entire body, chunks of meat scattering everywhere as Erion let out an aggressive growl.
I scowled again, "Hey!" I said, "What the fuck are you doing?!"
"Agghhh!!!" Erion snapped as he slammed his hand on the ground, "Gahhh!!!"
"Why the fuck are you bringing these damned birds on my property? I've been fucking telling you that if you fly to the Dreadlands and hunt, don't bring them here!" I scolded him, "Your mom is getting fed up with a bunch of decaying carcasses in the fields, Erion!!"
"Rahhhh!!" Erion flapped his wings outwards, "Ehhh!!"
"If you're fucking hungry, finish your godamn food!! Don't just eat their wings and mutilate their bodies, you little fucking psycho!!" I said
Erion's eyes twitched. He slammed both his arms down and let out a massive roar, one that sent a shockwave and ripped the ground apart. This was one of those roars akin to Acnologia's, a powerful and terrifying one that scares away any living life that values themselves.
But this was something I'm used to.
"Listen, you little rascal." I said pointing my finger-gun at him, "Your old man has to discipline you."
"Bang"
I watched as Erion was flung backward and was engulfed in a dark purple light. I then saw as his entire dragon form begin to shrink, leaving nothing but a small toddler on the ground. He was a little redhead boy wearing nothing but a black shirt and brown shorts. He looked like a 3 year old at most, despite being a 1-Year old.
I walked over to him as he was rubbing his hair, "Sorry for calling you a psycho, Erion." I said, "But come on, you're testing my patience. Do you have any idea how much work it takes to keep your dragon form hidden from the neighboring towns and villages? I don't wanna scare the shit out of them! And these carcasses, man they're a pain to get rid of. Magic beast corpses can't be incinerated without causing a crazy combustion or some shit..."
He glared at me, "Dumb!!" He yelled as he stood up, "Dumb dad!!!"
"Tch." I said picking him up by the back of his shirt, "Shut up. We're going home. Mom made you some food, you're going to eat that and take a nap. Got that?"
He began to kick and flay his arms at me, "No! Me kill!" He shouted, "Me kill all the birds!! Me kill all the pigs!!"
He was referring to the wild boars.
"Trust me, kid." I said, "I want you to kill the pigs too."
"But mom doesn't want you to."

"Erion-kun!" Mavis exclaimed, "Why do you reek of magic beast?!"
We were back at the house, I had dragged Erion back and had to threaten to take away his toys if he turned back into a dragon. That way, Mavis and I don't have to worry about him sneaking away and flying in the middle of the night. He takes his "toys' very seriously and knows I will take them away.
"Me kill all the birds!!" Erion said with a bright tone as he hugged Mavis's leg, "Mommy! Me kill all the birds!! Me fly and crush them!!!"
Mavis frowned and looked at me, "He flew to the Dreadlands, didn't he?" She asked me
I nodded, "Seems so." I said, "I'm telling you, ever since that incident with Natsu, he's been very adamant about killing those flying beasts specifically."
Mavis crouched down and smiled at Erion, "Okay, Erion-kun, I made you your favorite pasta~" She said, "Why don't you go and eat? Afterwards, you take a bath with Mommy and go to bed, okay?"
Erion nodded, "Okay." He said before walking away, "Me hungry."
I frowned, "You ate a bunch of wings...." I muttered
As Erion was out of sight, Mavis turned to look at me while blushing slightly without saying a word.
It took me a second to just take her in right now. She was wearing her usual casual white dress, the one that she's begun to wear ever since the War ended. Her hair was let loose all the way to her hips, something she rarely does anymore; she ties it into a ponytail.
She's as beautiful as always. Hella sexy.
"Say." She said with a cheerful tone, "I made a lot of his favorite shrimp alfredo pasta, Jason~ You know what that means...."
I smirked slightly, "Oh?" I said, "He's going to finish half the pasta and will be dead asleep by the time he's out of the bath."
Mavis walked up to me and placed her hands on my chest, "I have prepared the sound barriers in his room." She said, "He won't hear a thing~"
I held her by her waist as I leaned in, "Oh?" I said, "How long has it been since we've gone at it? A week? Man, I can't wait."
She nodded, "And tonight is even more special~" She said, "You'll love it~"
I raised an eyebrow, "How so?"
She winked at me,
"Kagura is joining us~~"
