"Good morning, honey." Jonathan woke up in his bed, his mind racing as he tried to understand what was happening to him. He was safe at home, in his own bed. His wife was shaking him awake, warning him that he was running late for a business meeting. "Come on, how long are you going to sleep? The early birds are already on their way," his wife said. Jonathan looked at her, utterly bewildered by the images fresh in his mind. What was happening to him? A few minutes ago, he had woken up in a graveyard, only to find himself in a horrific room. And now, he was at home.
Was this all just a dream? The question got the better of him. He was not only confused, but he also feared he was hallucinating. His mind was entirely restless. He couldn't even remember having a business meeting to attend. Tired and out of breath, he hurried into the bathroom to wash his face and get ready for the office. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't recall anything about his experiences or his job. To make matters worse, he looked at his wife as if she were a total stranger. "Yeah, yeah... I just had a bad dream," he muttered.
