Now it's Clara's turn to feel bad about how she treated her daughter, and Adam's caught up right in the middle once again.
But of course, since he has a soft spot for Clara, he can't just let her cry.
"Clara, you are not a bad mother," he says, pulling her in and rubbing her shoulder to calm her down.
Clara rests her head on his shoulder, crying as he comforts her.
"Look, you stayed and looked after your daughter when your husband decided to leave and not contribute even a penny towards her growth. You worked your ass off so that Lana would have a better life.
