"But that's my choice." She said, "There were other options. I simply chose to go against those above me, and I prepared for the consequences that follow. Did you?"
Dane swallowed. "No… please… my mother—"
"You're starting to piss me off, Dane." Her hand moved casually. A crystalline block unfurled from the floor and snaked around him.
With a flick of her wrist he was flung forward, stopped a breath away from her face as if caught on a wire.
"Listen," she said, "I don't give a crap about your mother. What matters is you crossed us and did something, and I want to know what that is."
"P-promise me you'll keep my mother safe if I talk,"
Lyanna burst into laughter.
