Chapter 49 - Win

I rotate again forward.

Circle closing.

I sprint at 70% speed — slightly serpentine — toward big rock in zone.

As I approach the rock I hear a shot from behind — suppressed rifle hit impacts to my left side ground.

I slip behind rock clean.

I heal small damage with bandage — because only minor hit.

Then med energy again to keep boost near max.

Remaining alive: 12.

Zone very small now.

I peek left side of rock — scanning across scattered trees.

I see one prone body near a broken wall segment.

He's aiming forward toward different group.

He's not looking here.

Distance ~90 meters.

I aim with M416 — small burst — tap, tap.

He immediately downs.

As I keep eyes locked — another player from near that broken wall stands up — maybe teammate or third party.

He snaps aim toward me — he saw muzzle flash.

He sprays with AR — bullets hitting rock.

I lean right — cannot stay left angle.

He continues spraying — overcommits — empties half mag.

While he reloads — I swing right wide around rock and fire while strafing.

My spray connects upper torso and head.

He falls.

I return to cover.

Remaining alive: 10.

Circle shifts again.

The next zone is slightly forward — near cluster of three trees forming triangle.

I must move again.

I wait last 3 seconds before zone begins shrinking — then I move.

As I sprint — I hear heavy 7.62 gun sound — someone is firing toward my left direction — not directly at me but close enough.

Bullets land near my right foot line — some stray.

I slide behind one of the triangle trees.

I crouch low.

I peek between tree and slight gap.

I see one guy crouched behind opposite tree — maybe 35 meters ahead.

Medium distance.

He is healing — first aid animation visible.

I spray instantly.

He dies before he finishes heal.

Remaining alive: 9.

I hear another player rush from behind me — he charges because he heard those shots.

I instantly rotate — 180 turn.

He is about 7 meters away — sprinting.

I hipfire UMP — full spray.

Hit markers.

He goes down mid-charge.

Remaining alive: 8.

I reload.

I breathe deeply — steady.

Then I hear two large sniper cracks — K98 or M24 — distance 110–120 meters — hitting someone not visible to me.

Two kills happen off screen.

Kill feed shows two eliminated.

Remaining alive: 6.

The zone is extremely small now — final shape.

Everyone is close — 70 meter radius area.

I crouch and wait.

I listen.

Then — I hear someone to my front right — slow crouch sliding.

I keep angle.

Then — footsteps medium pace appear front left — maybe two players converging.

I stay frozen — listening both directions.

I stay still and track both sound sources separately.

Front-right footsteps pause — maybe he is ADS scanning.

Front-left footsteps continue slow — maybe he's rotating wider.

I choose front-right because he is closer.

I aim toward that direction — gun tilted low so I am not blocking FOV too much.

After 2 seconds he peeks out from behind a small bush mound — head visible first.

Distance: around 18 meters.

I prefire his head height with UMP.

3–4 bullets connect.

He tries to crouch behind bush again but I already track his movement and I land final burst.

He drops.

Remaining alive: 5.

Immediately after that elimination I hear a single suppressed sniper shot — direction slightly northwest.

Bullet hits bark of tree in front of me but slightly angled so not direct line.

He did not see exact location — he only saw general muzzle flash direction.

I reposition behind a second tree just 4 meters behind my current one.

Zone shifts again — very small.

This will be final rotation.

Zone center has no cover — open patch with short grass.

I must move with smoke.

I equip frag then switch to smoke grenade.

I throw first smoke 8 meters ahead.

I immediately throw second smoke 3 meters ahead but slightly left to expand cloud area.

White smokes deploy.

I sprint inside smoke.

I hear someone else also throwing smoke from opposite side — so at least one more player is also rotating into open.

Inside smoke I crouch and hold my aim at chest level — because someone may push through.

I wait 2 seconds — footstep enters smoke on my right side.

I angle crosshair right.

He appears — silhouette through dense smoke shape.

I hold left click — rapid spray.

He dies inside smoke before he even sees me properly.

Remaining alive: 4.

I move again through smoke to next small depression.

I go prone.

I reload.

I hear two players fighting on opposite side of smoke line — rifle exchange — one goes down quickly.

Remaining alive: 3.

I see one body drop in open on far left side — sniper eliminated someone.

Remaining alive: 2.

So now only me and one more.

Zone shrinks to absolute final.

We both in circle.

He is north side.

I listen — he reloads loudly.

He might have low ammo or he wants full magazine before final duel.

I peek through thin side of smoke — slow lean — maybe I catch his silhouette.

I spot him — crouched behind small dirt bump — scoped in waiting.

Distance around 22–25 meters.

Medium range spray.

I switch to M416 for better mid-range control.

I lean and burst.

He reacts and sprays back — his sixth bullet hits my chest — small chunk of HP lost.

I adjust recoil and continue burst.

I get consistent hits — he tries to crouch lower — but his head pops above bump slightly.

I flick aim height slightly upward.

Final bullets connect head.

He drops.

Winner.

Kaze wins match.

Kill count: 13.

---

He sits back for half second — breathes out.

Then he switches mic to talk to chat now because he did not talk whole match.

"yo chat… we got it… 13 kill win… my aim was actually stable this game…"

Chat spams messages.

He sees sudden superchat.

"thank you for the superchat bro, appreciate it"

He scrolls some chat lines.

"yeah, yeah I know, I played silent this round… I needed to focus… that final zone was too tight… if I talked earlier I would get distracted."

Another gift alert pops.

He laughs slightly.

"ok ok ok guys… relax… chill… I'll read all after this one… but did you see the smoke push? that was clean right?"

Chat scrolls faster.

He watches it.

"if you want another match… type 1…"

numbers flood.

He leans forward and cracks fingers.

"ok next match we go again…"
