They were all swatted away like flies but Cias was still in the back, gazing at the same vision that Apollo was looking at, his flames turned hotter, his eyes shown an incandescent glow, his mouth agape (I can see it too, thank you Onyx). Cias's flames were becoming impossibly hot by all standards of physics, adding a few sparks of gold alongside the color. He could see the inner workings of his flame and his soul. Onyx had evolved alongside him with every battle, however, this time, Onyx was helping Cias evolve as well. Onyx had been observing Cias for a long time and had enough experience to seek answers to the inner workings of the soul which gave him the hints he needed to glimpse at the nexus.
Cias's body erupted in flames, Theo went over (I will not let this get out of hand). Theo swiped up his sword and struck down WHOOSH CRASH BOOM. His senses immediately told him what had happened. His sword which had been formed through the sacrifice of hundreds of galaxies had been burned in half by this child. His eyes widened as his senses screamed (Flames strong enough to burn space itself!!!). For the first time in a long time he felt the same sense of dread that he had felt 10 years ago. Cias smirked ,"Did you like that sword? Gonna cry?" Theo didn't let the provocation annoy him as he summoned his soul weapon, a chain and sickle that were stained black by his Art: Space Blade. He blocked the spear and wrapped it around and around. He yanked the chain to try to pry the spear from Cias's hands but he just flew along with the blade (It's almost as if it's a part of his physical body!?!). He swung at Cias's face with his sickle, slicing his cheek with the incredibly sharp and powerful blade. The shockwaves of the power he exhibited rebounded through Cias's body KABOOM.
Cias's organs ruptured and tore but the flames burned the foreign ki and he healed himself with Recovery. The fire was reinforcing and heightening every facet of his being. He stabbed forwards with his spear and grazed Theo. Theo again wrapped his chain around the spear but when he pulled Cias didn't move. Cias smirked as he glanced behind Theo at Apollo getting closer and closer. SHWING CRASH Theo held up the sickle and blocked the blow, holding it in the crook of the blade and the handle. Theo spun and let go of the spear, he swung and spun around, sharpening space itself to slice the arms of the two off SLASH. The two of them just used Telikinesis to reattach their limbs as they recovered their ability to move, Noah was on Theo's ass the moment that happened. Front punch to the jaw, roundhouse to the ribs and a spinning hook kick back to the jaw BOOM BOOM BOOM.
Theo stretched his senses, he closed his eyes. Power coursed through his bloodstream as his eyes flashed. He Attacked what was seemingly the air, Devan and Noah closed in on Theo BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM KABOOM. Some invisible force attacked them, Broken ribs and legs meant little to nothing to Noah and Devan though. Their pain tolerance together made it almost impossible to put them down. Noah was getting really excited now, adrenaline was controlling his every movement. His muscles shined with brilliance, His gauntlets shone even brighter than they already had been and then they solidified. Apollo looked over (There's no way). Everyone knew how strong Noah was before his power was now. It was refined and denser, stronger and even more terrifying, his assimilation weapon was created. Someone that out of hand had no reason to get even stronger, but that didn't matter, it was not even the nexus's decision whether one should grow this strong. Devan gritted his teeth (I guess I gotta find a way to get stronger myself), Kenji looked at his son and his son's friends (I can't imagine how much they went through to get so strong), this might've seemed like he was disappointed in himself but it was the opposite. The amount of pride he had for his son was unrivaled ,"SHOW THEM WHAT YOU CAN DO!!!"
Noah moved at ludicrous speeds and threw his fist straight at Theo BOOM, Devan followed up behind him. Devan's music was syncing with his soul. The transcendental sound resounding from his being didn't need air to carry a message, it was spreading through the cosmos, the vibrations syncing with that of his enemies soul, CRACK. A loud sound resounded in Devan's mind. Then his mind became clear, the flow of energy was clear to him, he saw the path. BOOM BOOM BOOM SHWOOSH BOOM Devan struck Theo's jaw with an uppercut, going into a spinning kick to the abdomen and a roundhouse to the jaw, he then finished with a kick to the shin. Theo's mind erupted with questions (Are they building off of each other??? How? And why so fast?). Apollo dashed in and slashed at Theo's stomach, Theo warped gravity whilst Apollo tried to warp his sword back on its original path, he couldn't, missing him by just a little margin. Cias thrusted his spear at Theo, Theo parried the spear with his sickle and threw the ball at Cias FWOO. CHINK Cias's spear shifted it's shape and spawned an extra blade to block it that jutted from the handle, right before sucking back in.
Noah's smile was so wide people would question if it was physically possible to be this happy, especially in a situation such as this, he punched at Theo, not letting up because of the excitement of battle BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Unfortunately for Noah, Theo blocked and twisted Noah's arms in the chains and yanked them together and towards him whilst swinging his chain and sickle down, slicing through Noah's skull and into his brain SLICE. Noah smiled as something unlocked inside of him. Apollo looked (There's no way). Noah's power was convulsing, both expanding an retracting in an insane fashion, it was like it was evolving, no, it was evolving. A shattering in his soul left the others speechless CRASH. He didn't even know what he was doing but he redirected the damage to his soul to the layer at which he wanted to break, smashing down the layer between his soul. How he did it, nobody would ever know, but what everyone did know, is that if anyone could do it, it was him.
Noah's mind cleared as he grabbed the the sickle and pulled it out of himself with his immense strength. He punched Theo with his extraordinary strength KABOOM. He punched him again, and again, and again, each time harder than the last BOOMMBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOOM. His fists and gauntlets were becoming increasingly stronger with each second BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Apollo didn't waste a second of his beatdown as he dashed at Theo, SHWING Theo teleported out of the way but Cias caught him right out of the teleport STAB. Theo teleported again to get away only to be right in front of Devan, he teleported again but the movement that Devan made carried over to the new location and hit him square on the jaw KABOOM.
Theo was experiencing a beatdown he'd never have expected in a million years, at least not from them. Theo's trembled, he started freaking out and convulsed in the air as a barrier made from pure darkness shrouded him. He heard a voice surround him ,"I know you're not done yet, once my purpose for you is done, you will perish just like you're Nexus." The dark energy, completely different from ki could be found everywhere entering his body, making him undergo changes, including those in his very mind itself. The barrier covering Theo dropped, the group looked at the stained body, it was pure black, no speck of light could even suggest a human being that was alive. The energy surrounding his body had no particular spiritual frequency, almost as if it denied existence.
