Chapter 1013 - Chapter 1013 : He Leaned Down To Kiss Her

Fu Yinxiu couldn't help but lean closer, lowering his head slightly.

They were so close, her lips were just inches away.

"Tong Tong, tell me, say it to me," Fu Yinxiu whispered, his voice lowering as he moved closer to Ming Yutong.

His deep eyes were fixed on her lips, inching closer.

"From now on, let's learn to be honest, no matter if it's good or bad, without holding back. Maybe some things are embarrassing to say, difficult to bring up, but once we start, it'll become easier."

"I'm not someone who easily opens up either, but I'm learning to share my true thoughts with you, no matter what's on my mind, without hiding anything," Fu Yinxiu said.

"This way, we won't have misunderstandings. No matter what happens, talking it out is better. Even if we have different views, we can solve any conflicts, but let's not have misunderstandings."

Ming Yutong didn't expect him to be so adamant about her expressing herself.

"Is that okay?" Fu Yinxiu asked gently.

Under the tension, Ming Yutong blinked rapidly.

"Okay," she said with difficulty.

Before Fu Yinxiu could speak again, she explained, "That 'okay' is in response to your question about pursuing me. And also agreeing to what you said about being open with each other."

Fu Yinxiu, who had more to say, was momentarily speechless.

His face lit up with joy, his eyes shining with excitement, and his face even blushing a bit.

He held Ming Yutong's shoulders, looking at her intently.

Unable to help himself, he leaned down to kiss her.

Ming Yutong held her breath nervously, but didn't want to pull away.

"Tong Tong."

Just as Fu Yinxiu's lips were about to touch Ming Yutong's, they heard an abrupt voice.

Ming Yutong quickly pushed Fu Yinxiu away and turned to see Little Jingshi standing in his pajamas, rubbing his eyes.

Standing in the light from the living room, his eyes were half-closed.

Fu Yinxiu: "..."

His face turned icy with frustration.

This little rascal always ruins the moment!

"Why are you up?" Ming Yutong quickly walked over, asking.

Feeling awkward, she wondered if Little Jingshi had seen them standing so close.

"I got up to pee and saw you weren't there, so I came out to check," Little Jingshi said, still rubbing his eyes.

Ming Yutong took his hand down. "Don't rub your eyes like that."

By now, Little Jingshi had adjusted to the living room light and noticed Fu Yinxiu. "Dad, how did you get in? Did Tong Tong let you in?"

Fu Yinxiu: "..."

Look at how he said it, as if he was let in like a dog.

Ming Yutong, hearing Little Jingshi, felt relieved.

It seemed Little Jingshi hadn't seen them standing so close.

"Did you finish peeing?" Ming Yutong asked him.

"Yeah, just need to wash my hands!" Little Jingshi replied cheerfully.

Ming Yutong: "..."

She looked at the little hand she was holding with a complicated expression.

She quickly pushed him to the bathroom to wash his hands.

When Ming Yutong came back out, she hastily said to Fu Yinxiu, "It's late, you should sleep."

With that, she quickly headed back to her bedroom, leaving Fu Yinxiu standing there, still processing the sudden interruption.

Fu Yinxiu watched Ming Yutong disappear into the bedroom before slowly heading to the bathroom.

Little Jingshi was drying his hands with a towel. Seeing Fu Yinxiu, he grinned. "Dad, did you beg Tong Tong to let you in?"

Fu Yinxiu: "..."

Oh, if this kid wasn't Ming Yutong's child, he wouldn't want him.

"Later, when Tong Tong is asleep, sneak out and open the door for me so I can get in," Fu Yinxiu whispered.

Little Jingshi was stunned by Fu Yinxiu's shamelessness. "Dad, how can you sneak into Tong Tong's room? Isn't that being a rogue?"

Fu Yinxiu: "..."

"Are you going to help or not?" Fu Yinxiu asked, his face darkening.

"Is this the way to ask for help?" Little Jingshi straightened his back, feeling very needed by his dad.

Fu Yinxiu just looked at him coldly, saying nothing.

After a while, Little Jingshi shivered. "Okay, okay, I'll help you."

As he walked out, he muttered, "Must have owed you in a past life. Being a son is so tough."

Fu Yinxiu: "..."

To complete his mission, Little Jingshi lay in bed, unable to sleep. Once he was sure Ming Yutong was asleep, he quietly got up and let Fu Yinxiu in.

Fu Yinxiu, like a thief, quietly lay down next to Ming Yutong, carefully inhaling the scent of her hair before finally falling asleep, satisfied. Before dawn, he woke up and quietly left the room.

When Ming Yutong woke up, she had no idea that there had been a little spy in her room.

Little Jingshi had conspired with Fu Yinxiu, letting him into her room at night to sleep beside her. Now, in the morning, Little Jingshi acted as if nothing had happened.

As Little Jingshi went to wash up, Ming Yutong went to the kitchen and saw Fu Yinxiu already preparing breakfast.

He greeted her brightly, "Good morning."

"I have to go on a business trip today. If everything goes smoothly, I'll be back by the weekend," Fu Yinxiu said with regret, looking deeply at Ming Yutong. "I really don't want to leave."

Ming Yutong felt a little nervous under his intense gaze and quickly turned her head to leave. Fu Yinxiu wanted to chase after her but was busy with breakfast, so he had to let it go.

Today's breakfast was simple: sandwiches, vegetable salad, and three cups of hot milk, so it was ready quickly. By the time he brought the breakfast to the table, Ming Yutong and Little Jingshi were already sitting there,

waiting.

Seeing them sitting obediently at the table, Fu Yinxiu couldn't help but smile.

"Dad, you're going on a business trip? You only told Tong Tong and not me," Little Jingshi complained.

"Even if I'm here, you're still with Tong Tong. Is there a difference?" Fu Yinxiu said with a sidelong glance.

Little Jingshi pouted and huffed, realizing there really wasn't a difference.

"When are you leaving?" Ming Yutong asked.

Fu Yinxiu's heart swelled with happiness. It felt as if they were already married, and she, as his wife, was concerned about his daily life.

The warmth of this feeling made him reflect on his past foolishness, realizing how he had failed to appreciate her concern before and had even felt it was interfering with his schedule.

"I'll be leaving right after breakfast," Fu Yinxiu replied, his eyes filled with reluctant affection.

Ming Yutong nodded, not meeting his gaze, while Little Jingshi looked between them with a mischievous grin.

The atmosphere at the breakfast table was unexpectedly warm and familial, a stark contrast to the tension of previous days.
