"Lily! Here!"
As Xiaoyun waved his hand, almost every single person leaving the school turned towards him for a second before looking away uninterested.
In the distance, he could see Lily's face blushing red as she quickly walked through the crowds, stopping right by the passenger side of the car.
"You don't have to yell out loud like that. U-Unlock the door."
"How was your school today?"
Xiaoyun asked as he took off his sunglasses, taking his time walking over to the other side to open the door for her.
"It was fine. Thank you."
With Lily in her seat, Xiaoyun quickly headed back over to the driver's side after noticing several students starting to stare at his face.
"Did you make any friends on your first day of school?"
Xiaoyun asked as he started up the car engine, closing the car windows to block off all the outside noises.
"Stop making me sound like a kid. And who makes friends on the first day of their uni, talking to strangers?"
"I guess you're right."
