The two demon beasts had now transformed into human figures, retaining some beastly traits, and were escorted by Black Wood to the City Lord Mansion.

The Black Bear in human form chuckled darkly,

Yang Xiao smiled and addressed the Monkey in human form,
"How about you? Do you know where the Lord is? Rest assured, I just want to negotiate with your Lord to discuss ways for peaceful coexistence in the future. Lead me to them; I'll talk to your Lord personally."
