Grandpa Briggs looked at his resentful granddaughter, his gaze as sharp as a knife. He was more sympathetic to his biological daughter, as his granddaughter had always been estranged from the Briggs family. So, no matter how Grandpa Briggs looked at Sienna Johnson, he found her disagreeable.

"There are no perfect parents in the world," Grandpa Briggs said, his voice not loud but powerful. Each word struck Sienna like a slap to the face. "Even if your mother had her faults, as her daughter, it is your duty and filial piety to fulfill your role. Was it right for you to drive her to commit suicide?"

Samara defended Sienna, "Grandpa, my sister didn't disrespect Mom. My sister has been good to her."

The Uncle glared at Samara. "This is a conversation for adults. It's not your place to interrupt!"
