Curly mistakenly thought her parents had left her behind to go out and have fun. In fact, Sienna Johnson and Adrian Desmond were staying home, carefully focusing on Sienna's pregnancy. Sienna had been so frightened recently that she hadn't even stepped out of their room; her meals were delivered directly there.
"What did Curly say?" Adrian asked.
"We still haven't returned to the island, so your daughter thinks you've been taking me out to indulge in delicious food and drinks, leaving her behind and not caring about her," Sienna conveyed Curly's meaning in the most straightforward way possible.
"When have I ever taken you out for delicious food and drinks without including her?"
Adrian was massaging Sienna's legs. After a rough start to her pregnancy where she vomited everything, even water, Sienna had entered a phase of ravenous eating. Her belly grew rapidly, which worried Adrian. If it continued to grow at this rate, wouldn't it burst?
