"Curly, did you know that Shade Jervois has an identical twin who's a bad guy?"
Curly lazily said, "Yeah, my brother told me."
"Curly, if Shade Jervois and his bad guy brother were standing in front of you, would you be able to tell which one is Shade Jervois and which one is the bad guy brother?"
Curly thought for a moment and replied, "The one who loves alcoholic chocolate would be Shade!"
"What if the bad guy brother pretends to like it too? Would you still be able to tell them apart?"
"Well..."
Adrian Desmond knew about his daughter's stubbornness, so he didn't start by telling her not to see Shade anymore, but instead tried to persuade her gently.
"You see, you can't tell the difference, can you?"
