"Is it my fault?"
Her coquettish, helpless, and self-mocking words amused Night Owl.
"Yeah, it's your fault! It's all your fault! If you had come to my side sooner, my first time would definitely have been yours." Night Owl's voice had lost its anger; his tone was clear and light as he actually started joking with Sienna Johnson.
Sienna wasn't pleased.
"That's not my fault, nor is it yours. It's just that our destinies weren't deeply intertwined enough! So, we couldn't become lovers, nor husband and wife. Night Owl, my stomach feels upset. I'm hanging up," she said coldly, her tone serious.
"Do you still like the token of affection I gave you?"
"Mr. Jervois, you're mistaken. I haven't received any token of affection from you!"
"The anklet on your foot is the unique token of affection I gave you!"
