Curly's illness was contagious, and those people were terrified of the situation worsening. It was absolutely impossible for them to let Curly leave.
"Find a way!" Adrian tossed the problem to Marion and then strode away.
The isolation room was soundproof; unless someone used a microphone, no sound from the outside could be heard inside. Curly lay on the bed, still hooked to an IV drip, and watched her father storm out angrily, growing anxious.
"George, am I going to die?"
