Sabrina Conner had investigated thoroughly before coming, yet this woman still tried to play tricks on them.
Sabrina Conner said to Barnes Smythe, "Do I look like an idiot?"
"You don't look like an idiot..." The rest of the sentence: Actually, you are an idiot. Barnes Smythe thought it would be embarrassing to say that in front of others, so he held back.
"Then why does this woman treat me like a fool?"
"Because she's the idiot!" Barnes Smythe replied.
Sabrina Conner chuckled, "Victor, huh? Fine, call him out then." As if they were fools.
Ivy Evans didn't expect them not to fall for it, she was momentarily at a loss. This apartment was highly secure; most people wouldn't be able to get in. Likewise, it was not easy for her to call for help.
"What exactly do you want?" Ivy Evans asked.
