Before Josie came, she had plotted everything well; she didn't expect Night Owl to see through it so quickly, and in a fit of rage, Night Owl destroyed her face.
She was unwilling, yet she could only resign to her fate.
At this point, Josie stopped daydreaming; as good as Adrian Desmond was, he wasn't as important as her own life.
"Lithium, just let me go secretly, the master won't know."
Lithium looked at this woman. Her face was terrifying; an ordinary person would have been scared to death, but for someone like Lithium, who crawled out of piles of dead bodies, Josie's face wasn't frightening—just a few cuts with blood flowing out.
"Josie, even now, you still don't understand where you went wrong."
Of course, Josie knew where she went wrong; she shouldn't have betrayed Night Owl.
"I know I was wrong, I know I shouldn't have betrayed the master... but I've already become like this, why can't you let me go?"
