The ringing of the phone pierced the silence; it was Adrian Desmond calling.
"Hello..."
Adrian was startled by Sienna Johnson's voice, "What's wrong with you?"
Just by listening, Adrian could detect Sienna's anomaly. She was unhappy, even...sad.
When she left in the morning, she was still cheerful. Why was she sad now?
"Adrian, did Tessa Harrington commit suicide?" Sienna spoke gravely.
"Suicide?" Adrian was equally surprised.
Tessa was exceptionally lively, optimistic, always laughing as if she had no worries. A person like that suddenly committing suicide surprised even Adrian.
"Yes, she committed suicide."
"Is the news confirmed?"
"She is at the funeral home now."
