Chapter 138 - 138

Adivaris looked at the couple with curiosity and continued:

"Yes, everyone can now express their passions as they want. It's a pity, Zarmina, you don't accept the loving nature of the syrinxes. Therefore, my task is to get closer to you so that you can understand us and realize how significant your sensory participation is for our society."

"In what sense, to get closer?" Zarmina was alarmed.

"In all senses!" Adivaris answered calmly. "The ruler must achieve from all princesses the ability to constantly exude the desire to love. I need to awaken in you an endless stream of the joy of life, which will gracefully flow onto those who want to share this inspiration that fills existence."

"Something new!" Zarmina muttered dissatisfiedly under her breath.

"Romantic expression of lustful desires. This is how it should be presented!"

"What will you do with the boy?" Tarmio intervened. "Leave him here?"

"I'll tell Lariel to deal with his son himself," Adivaris answered with a heavy sigh.

He looked closely at Zarmina, and she was seized by an unpleasant chill.

"I'll have to communicate with you a lot, honey, to make you happy. I wandered on long journeys for a thousand years to forget about the cold hearts of the Xantarian princesses, but, as fate would have it, now I am the one responsible for all the ice that will certainly melt in my hands. See you!"

The princess looked back at Tarmio in fear when Adivaris suddenly disappeared into thin air.

"I don't want to meet this Ruler, what should I do?" Zarmina exclaimed in despair, waving her hands.

Tarmio looked intensely into her eyes, hugging Irinel.

"It's your own fault! Rejected our love, called us perverts. It was so humiliating in his presence, but now the new Ruler will personally be involved in your upbringing. You are heartless: you don't love your surroundings and don't appreciate our care. Apologize for the insults and be kind to both of us, then Adivaris will not touch you."

Zarmina's eyes filled with tears, and in a nervous state she ran into the room with the sleeping Gedeon.

"She's incorrigible, right?" Irinel asked quietly, hugging Tarmio. "But are you still ready to give her a chance?"

"You know how hard it is for a vampire to live without mana; if you try at least once, this thirst will always haunt you, which is why you have to endure the endless whims and antics of the princess."

"I can't imagine what this thirst is like, but I understand how difficult it is to quench the passion. You need to take your mind off her, let's live together for now," Irinel enthusiastically suggested. "And let her think about her behavior alone."

She woke up early in the morning, clinging to Gedeon and almost screamed in surprise: someone's charming lilac eyes were looking intently at her.

"Don't be scared, princess!" The voice of a stranger of incredible beauty rustled velvety. "I am Lariel! Came to pick up my son."

He stood next to the bed and worriedly held Gedeon's hand. His soft, benevolent smile reassured Zarmina, who instantly realized what kind of guest had come to her.

"They told you all sorts of things about me, but don't worry, I'm not a heartthrob or a seducer at all. I am, first of all, a healer and help correct the energy field to those who need it."

Lariel placed his hands all over the young man's body, emitting a faint white glow from them.

"Will you take him with you?" Zarmina asked excitedly.

The handsome man smiled ironically.

"I see you're too attached to him. Thank you for taking care of my son, but he can't stay here anymore, otherwise he'll never wake up."

"Rohen demanded that he live here," the princess said absently. "Will you disobey his orders?"

"We will agree without any problems. If my son feels so bad here, then I will definitely take him with me."

"Deo said that they treated him badly..." Zarmina said sadly, lowering her eyes in embarrassment, full of tears.

"Did someone really offend you?" Lariel asked sympathetically. "You need a distraction. Do you want to stay with me in Ornalion and improve your health?"

"Can I?" She turned her gaze in amazement to the Zarian guest.

"I invite you!" He gave her his hand, and she immediately grabbed it, jumping out of bed in the dress in which she fell asleep last night.

Zarmina, as if enchanted, could not take her eyes off this attractive syrinx, radiating extraordinary goodness and kind nature. He carefully grabbed Gedeon's lifeless body, pressing his folded wings, and commanded her:

"Grab onto me! Now there will be a teleport!"

The movement was so instant that Zarmina could not recover from how suddenly everything had changed around her.

She stood with her eyes wide open in the middle of a picturesque city with low multi-colored buildings buried in luxurious greenery and fragrant flowers. Nearby, a fountain decorated with figurines of cupids rustled comfortably, and black-winged men and women strolled leisurely with their babies. She was especially surprised that among the charming children there were many girls dressed in neat outfits.

"Oh, Zarmina!" Someone's gentle voice was heard behind him.

She turned around and found a smiling white-winged vampire with a small toddler in front of her.

"It's very nice to see you so close, inaccessible."

"Who are you? I've never seen you."

"Of course you didn't," the yellow-eyed stranger answered mockingly, looking at her with obvious pleasure. "Can you really remember the thousands of aristocrats? I am Ramies, Avilena's husband, you've probably heard about her."

"Husband?" Zarmina was loudly surprised. "I didn't think that such an uninhibited woman also had a husband."

Ramies laughed heartily.
