Three days have passed since the engagement banquet.
Zoe Yale found an opportunity to reconnect with Emma Aiden.
"I didn't see you on my engagement day. Why don't you come out, and we can meet in a private room? We can have a meal together and go singing. You haven't even met my fiancé yet!"
Zoe held her cell phone, feigning nonchalance while feeling anxious.
As she spoke, she kept turning her head to look at Harrison Yale, who was sitting right across from her.
If Charles White hadn't been holding her, she would have been so nervous she couldn't talk by now.
She only lifted her head after the call ended.
"Brother, Emma agreed, but she said she's going to the airport to pick someone up and won't have dinner with us. She'll meet us directly in the singing box once she's picked up the person."
