His eyes scanned the Tea Room, realizing only she was there, his facial expression turned cold and fierce.
"Where is he?"
"What?" Victoria Gibson looked puzzled.
"Freddy Nelson!" Chad Yakov gritted his teeth and reached out to grip her chin, "I just heard voices inside, there's more than just you here, where is he!"
"Chad Yakov, what's gotten into you? You suddenly burst in just to ask me about Freddy Nelson's whereabouts, I'm not his slave, I can talk to myself in the Tea Room without breaking the law!"
Victoria tried to push his arm away, her jaw clamped by him, in anger, she turned her head and bit down on the web of his thumb.
"Hiss!" Chad Yakov inhaled sharply, but did not let go, staring intently at Victoria like a wildcat baring its teeth at him.
As he saw the clarity in her eyes, the anger in his chest gradually dissipated.
"You didn't secretly meet with him here?"
