Riley Sully glanced casually with little interest and turned to Shane Winchester, saying, "Do you have anything you want to drink? Seems like there's none at home…"

Before Riley Sully could finish her sentence, her arm was suddenly tugged, she spun in place, and finally landed steadily in his embrace. Her head was pressed directly against his chest, and she could even feel his big hand and arm shielding her head.
"Ah—!"
A burst of chaotic screams rose from the surrounding area. Right after, her vision darkened, and even the surrounding light was partially obscured. Before she could figure out what was happening, she felt a massive pressure crashing down, as if something was heavily hitting his shoulder…
The man in front didn't utter a sound, yet Riley Sully, nestled in his arms, could distinctly feel his body tense up, as if he was holding something back.
