How could he not know that what Angela Summer hinted at might very well be true?
But he had already, unknowingly, fallen into an abyss named "Aldana Candi," fully aware that what might await him ahead was nothing but emptiness, yet he still willingly stepped into this web of lies.
Because he was already at the end of his rope.

Ellen Candi hurried out from the bedroom door.
The wind in the hallway was strong, leaving her face deathly pale.
The butler of the villa, seeing her pale face rushing downstairs, curiously asked, "Miss Candi, what's wrong with you?"
Ellen didn't speak, just lowered her head, grabbed her bag from the sofa, and hurried out.
"Miss Candi, won't you be staying here tonight?" The butler asked behind her, but she didn't answer.
When she left the house, she accidentally bumped into Angela Summer, who had just returned from a walk in the courtyard.
