"Back then, I thought not telling her was the best way to protect her. But now she's repeatedly intervened in your family's mess, hasn't received any proper gratitude, and is instead treated as if it's all justified. Honestly, I'm annoyed. Why should my woman deal with this nonsense? After everything she's done, I haven't heard you utter a single thank-you to her."
