Norris Moore lowered her head, her eyelashes quivering slightly, a single tear rolling down from her long lashes.
Seeing her like this, Trenton Smith was utterly helpless. He sighed inwardly and leaned down to kiss the tears on her face.

Norris tried to push him away, but Trenton grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into his embrace. His lips persisted, kissing away the tears on her face.

Norris pursed her lips but kept her eyes down, remaining silent.
"I'm sorry... I really shouldn't have treated you this way. Does it hurt?" His low, tender voice carried a hint of enchantment.
