She had completely figured out this guy's nature now...
Sure enough, after she finished speaking, Norton Foster's eyes noticeably lit up a bit.
The man lowered his head to look at her. With his back to the light, his shadow completely enveloped her. In her vision, apart from the obscure light and shadow hovering over his handsome face, all she could see was his star-like, brilliantly bright eyes.
He curled his lips slightly, as if smiling, and asked in a low voice, "Hmm? How will you make it up to me?"
Amelia Miller felt inexplicably shy and flustered. She took a step back and cautiously replied, "How do you want me to make it up to you?"
"I get to decide how you make up to me?" His voice was soft, but the curve of his lips seemed to lift even higher.
Amelia blinked, trying her best to disguise the hesitance on her face. She retreated another step, stepping out of his shadow and into the light. Staring at Norton, she said, "You have work tomorrow. You should go to sleep now."
