"You're running a fever," whispered Aldana Candi, her breath faint as she gazed at the man in front of her, his pale lips stained with the crimson of blood.
It was the blood from her lip that had been bitten, "I'll go get you some fever medicine."
She was undeniably worried inside, extremely worried!
"You promised me—" anger blazed in his dark eyes, "You lied to me—for years now, why won't you come back?"
He looked at her, his usually cold and calm face displaying a youthful anger and frustration.
This shouldn't be the emotion directed at her.
"..." Aldana lay on the bed, her chest rising and falling slightly. She gradually understood.
He was feverish and had mistaken her for Ellen Candi again.
She stared at Eric Candi's eyes, flushed with anger, feeling a bit dazed.
