Norris Moore felt a chill run through her entire body.

"It's all fake. Norris, Philip Shaw never loved me. What he liked was just my face." As she said these words, it felt like her heart was being skinned alive. She felt shame, humiliation, and unbearable pain.
Being someone else's stand-in is not shameful; what is shameful is that she actually believed the man loved her and reveled in it. Thinking back to the times she confronted Eric Candi for Philip Shaw, the words felt like a slap on her face. She wished she could just die on the spot when she thought about her past self.
It truly was too humiliating. Now that the truth is out, she felt like a clown performing a ridiculous act.
All of it, in hindsight, is incredibly nauseating.
