Aldana Candi asked with a hint of confusion, "What should I know?"
Philip Shaw glared at her, his tone harsh, "Shut up!"
Aldana Candi pursed her lips, looking slightly displeased.
Philip Shaw looked at Joyous Shaw, his expression somewhat mocking, "I spared your life back then, seems it was truly a mistake."
Joyous Shaw looked at him, "You really should have killed me."
Philip Shaw nodded slightly, "I shouldn't have been merciful to you."
Joyous Shaw looked at him, lost in thought, tears welled up in her eyes. She took a deep breath, lifted her hand to wipe them away, then walked over and dragged Aldana Candi up from the ground.
Philip Shaw watched her actions, a flicker of malice flashed in his eyes, "You're courting death!"
He lunged forward, trying to snatch Aldana Candi back, but was intercepted once again by several bodyguards in the room. He punched the jaw of the foremost guard, sending him flying, but another person rushed up to block his path.
