Aldana Candi adjusted her breathing, waiting for the golden light before her eyes to fade away, before she raised her still slightly trembling hand and pressed it against Philip Shaw's face: "Get up!"
Philip, agreeable as ever, didn't continue to provoke, and smiled as he released her.
