Philip Shaw's eyes darkened further as he looked at her passive resistance, feeling a faint surge of anger. He spoke again, his words becoming increasingly harsh: "You can't stand it now, but in the future, you'll be eating together for a lifetime! If you have the guts, never eat again!"
Aldana Candi suddenly looked up at him, her pale lips tightly pursed, but at this moment they were trembling slightly. Her gaze was icy cold with a hint of resentment.
Philip Shaw's heart felt as if it was being pricked by needles under her stare. His strong facade faded, and with a touch of helplessness, he sighed softly, his voice softening, "I didn't mean it like that. Please have a few more bites, hmm?"
