Norris sat with Aldana at the entrance for a while, waiting for Trenton to come out of the house before grabbing the man's hand to go catch crabs on the beach.
Aldana propped her chin up, sitting in place, watching the silhouette of Norris and Trenton—one tall, one short—cast a shadow behind them that seemed older than time itself.
They are very happy now and will continue to be happy in the future.

By noon, the doctors had gradually finished their lunch and were sitting in the courtyard, reporting Philip's condition to Trenton.
While Philip's attending physician was updating Trenton, Angela was closely following behind them.
