After breakfast, Eric changed into a set of fall clothes and drove his used car to take Aldana and Philip to the city center to buy clothes.
Not only did Philip need a few thick coats, but even Aldana and Ellen had to prepare autumn and winter outfits.
Because Philip was going, Ellen wasn't interested in going. Anyway, her figure is similar to Aldana's, so she just asked Aldana to try on clothes and buy a few for her.
Eric's clothes were too big for Philip, not looking good, and Philip refused to wear them. Aldana tried to persuade him at first but eventually let him be. She only gave him a scarf she knitted last year to keep him warm.
Philip touched the gray-brown cashmere scarf and seemed to like it very much: "Is this scarf for me?"
Aldana smiled, "If you like it, it's yours."
Philip said, "This is the first gift you've personally given me."
