Aldana paused for a moment and then slowly lay back down.

The tears she'd been holding back couldn't help but fall, Aldana curled up, hugging her legs, burying her face in her knees, and cried silently.
Fear, despair, all sorts of negative emotions surrounded her when Philip entered the operating room. She couldn't help but think of him when she fell from the fourth floor, seeing his form in Philip's embrace.
"I won't let anything happen to you."
He fulfilled his promise as his final act of protection.
He didn't let her get hurt in the end.
He used his body to bear all the impact, allowing her to fall from the fourth floor without a scratch.
