Aldana Candi accompanied Liam Summer for a lunch at the Western restaurant; red wine, steak, French escargot, and dessert after the meal.
The food was incredibly delicious, yet Aldana Candi ate the entire meal as if walking on thin ice.
The rain stopped, but the weather remained gloomy. Aldana Candi stood at the restaurant entrance, looking at the damp street outside, and asked, "Where do you want to go now?"
Liam Summer looked down at her, "Walk with me down the street."
Aldana Candi hesitated for a moment, nodded, and followed Liam Summer toward the roadside.
The unknown trees planted by the roadside were blooming, bringing waves of floral scent. Under the shade of the trees, Aldana Candi inadvertently thought of the laurel trees at the Shaw Residence and then of that man...
She wondered how he was doing now.
After leaving, given their social class differences, the likelihood of them meeting again was slim.
